so happy you are coming back!! (: be glad you weren't working yesterday morning when the Runway 5K caused me to have an hour-long taxi (to go to AVL of all places) lol. I wear Dankso Fawna Mary Janes - they have like an inch of height but they're connected at the bottom if that makes sense (like no stiletto). I wear them all day and walk laps around the airport when I'm on standby or sits. I hope this is a suggestion that might give you an option!

I actually got it at Ann Taylor & returned it after 🤫 (shhhh) - but they really have the most beautiful, well fitting suit separates!

I am sorry if I am being intrusive with this question but I wonder if AA paid you those weeks that tu were not working Z and how it work out your salary knowing that you are paid hourly ? I sent you healing energies and speedy recovery ❤️

This is a great question! I have been receiving short-term disability from an outside company. It is supposed to be 60% of my “guaranteed” salary (which isn’t much due to how flight attendants are paid). On an average month, I work WAY over what I’m guaranteed, plus I receive per diem for every trip I work. So I’m making very little in comparison to when I’m working, but at least I was able to get something 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes tights are mandatory & scars happen. It’s okay if it shows. It may fade with scar creams which I will start using soon.

Sorry you lost your insurance. Would you mind sharing why? I know you are out of work, but isn't this considerate a medical leave? I was out on medical leave, but my time with the company + the time required to be out of work meant I wouldn’t be covered anymore. It was an unfortunate surprise for me, as I didn’t know that prior to surgery! Thank you for the well wishes! 🫶🏼
