Very cool build! I don't know, if it would fit, but you could make a support equipement fot the Seabean that fits the ISO container. It would have a big battery and a winch, and be lowered into the water to serve as a base of operations. That way more ships could use the Seabean. You could call it the Seabean Pod.

In the workbench, the mass of the vehicle does NOT account for the tracks that are added at spawn.

454. You mentioned that you would build a new ship. I would recommend you try to avoid the pully system on ships like the Alston and Algari. Reason being is that the joints holding the crane are not strong enough and will slingshot backwards when the winch retracts. Makes moving stuff on the deck almost impossible. I think it's phantom physics again so might not be to much u can do.

Great suggestion! However, the pulley system on both those vessels is only intended for lowering the diving bells/equipment to the seafloor, so any actual moving around of equipment on the deck should be done from the winches on the gantry crane itself. We'll see what is possible, but the Huge Winch + Pulley combo seem to be the only option, without having a massive gantry with the winch mounted overhead - which is an option :)

Possible! :) I do love the OMUA bright blue, but certain creations look better with the darker blue and grey! & that is coming! Since it uses the H4 connectors, I will be making a few H4 trailers and everything will be easy to place on them!

I did something similar with a plane I made, I realised that I got a number wrong with the microcontroller, and then I ended up having to delete it and replace it, and it took me an hour to fix up the logic

What a stupid game. Tried it after watching this and was curious. What he DOESN'T tell you is the controls are atrocious, there is NO tutorial really, this is more like a student project then a finished game.

Could you make a tutorial and show what to do so that the game doesn't run in slowmotion? All guides are outdated and don't work for me, the computer isn't even lukewarm when I build large vehicles but my character walks 1 cm per hour and I don't know how to change it. The problem also appears during the game when the ship is sinking and everything is going smoothly, the game randomly decides to continue in 1% mode

Do you think it's possible to make a video explaining making transmissions/gearboxes. I can't seem to make a I4 modual engine with a pump (the 3 block long one) move anything. I build a small car that's entirely bare bones and ither the engine stalls out when the clutch is engaging, or the tires just spin and it's impossible to control the vehicle. I can manage to make it work with a flat 8 with the same pump. It seems like the engines are way to underpowered.

gearboxes work by one gear(drive connected to the shaft of the engine which does one rotation every time the engine makes one rotation. the drive gear is connected to the driven gear which is smaller/bigger so if the driven has 10 less of those things on the edge of the gear then, its going to be a 1:2 gear ratio, meaning the driven gear makes two rotations in the time of the drive which makes one rotation. yw and good luck (PS im not sure if that's how it works in stormworks and I never got a working modular engine, but anyways that's how it works in real life.)

The exploration of caves/shipwrecks, collecting of treasure, and salvage/rescue missions is what it can do gameplay-wise :)

is there a way to mod in a campaign of missions or something to drive a specific series of challenges? Like I would want to have a budget for a mission and be able to run it with a specific build and be graded on that build's performance. And then it would be cool if the next mission added on conditions that guide/nudge the player to investigate the next layer up of the game mechanics.

What would happen if you rerouted the air that’s being pumped out of the tank back in the tank so the pressure drops slower? Or connected the two tanks with an air filter so as one fills up with liquid, the air in the other tank goes to the emptying one? Would it help the flow be faster by keeping the pressures stable?

And to use the thing I said while pumping a liquid from one vessel to another, we could use two hoses: One with the pumps to transfer the actual liquid and one to just connect the air of the tanks with gas filters so the tanks don’t have problems with pressure and thus, the system is faster? Maybe? I’m not a good builder in stormworks, let alone making complex systems but I just had this idea that might work
