I for one, welcome updates like these. I hope we will see some smaller cargo types that we have to pick up in future. I'm glad the devs also decided to go for a commonly used size, rather than inventing their own. It'll save a lot of people time modifying their trucks. I do wonder though if the farm and ranch are both pointing towards what the next major update will be?

Yeah it’s going to be nice to start building some trucks

even in SibTaT I found the connector height is a range. tire size/suspension make a huge difference. you either live with the angled trailers, be it up or down. or make the truck adjustable. either a sliding hitch or adjustable suspension height in my case. I know my trucks in real life have adjustable hithes, using different bolt positions. either way I think making the composite compatible is huge! I know when I first started making trucks I didn't know what standard to use. yours was first on the workshop, but didn't work with most of the trailers I had. every time I download a trailer and the lights work it makes me smile

@454 Perhaps a nice topic to review the most used standards, what types this is , from containers dimension to MC Lua thingies, perhaps a invitation of a larger discussion of general standardizing, witouth leaving behind too many things, ie one standard thats perhaps ideals for one aspects, but lacks/undermines an different aspect. and so being defined as a subclass with possible interconnecting adapters?

@1:50-1:55, a suggestion of a new standard using a combination of lua touchscreen & pilot seat to potentially operated multiple system one at a time. IE Composite signsals from Pilot seat goes directly into a MC Composite Switcher, perhaps through Anchors/Cable>anchor, for potentially insitu flexibilty. MC Switcher contains composite signals from Touchscreen, (Co-)Pilot(s) and 4 Composite Outputs, dedicated to their specific function. with basic vehicle controls being a required standard? Currently i have implimented this for my version of the Phorsys, however, i readily admit that it contains many flaws, and left behind enough room for improvement, but at the same time this needs to be done from the basics with a holistic strategy

connectors don't need to be connected at right angle, you can use 1 connector on track slighly angeled(30-45degree), so connector on the truck can pull it and connect to it (or you can move it using some switch)

I’ll be honest. I don’t use mods, I don’t download anything, I’m super boring, just playing by myself with my own creations. I feel like I’m playing legos when I play stormworks. When I have made trucks and trailers in the past I made my own system too. I think it’s the natural flow of the game. Make your own solutions to the tasks the game throws at you, not to depend on a premade system that someone else made. Anyway merry Christmas.

Hey are you having problems with ships sinking?? I’ve tried everything from pumping air out with hatch’s in the bottom. To gas relief valves, and ballast pumps. Please make a video on how to sink ships with multiple compartments with these new game physics thanks!

Isnt this going backwards having no suspension in vehicles just to tow a trailer.
