When the lowest ranked season has an episode like the Crane Boys Mysteries you know it’s a classic show you’re talking about!

Didn't watch until it went to reruns. It's probably my favorite sitcom of all-time!♡ Such great writing, cast, etc. Turned my Mom onto it bc I'd wait up for her to come from work. Turned into our late night ritual. She fell in love with Niles ♡ Miss you, Mom♡

Oh sure, it's just a show, but I'm still so damn happy Daphne and Niles got together in the end. 😊

So many funny scenes - especially in the earlier seasons. I'd rank them 4 2 5 1 6 3 7 11 8 10 9 from best to worst. S4 is my favourite as it has Ham Radio and my favourite episode Mixed Doubles. All such great actors especially DHP who stole many scenes with his wonderful delivery, facial expressions and brilliant physical acting.

*The Idiot's Guide to Customer Service* "What is formal society?" Formal society is really about the class system. It is the thief's confusion. This means that some forms of formal society are un-American. Formal society concerns one's social angles, who can withstand social exposure and the inevitable psychological bludgeoning. People find angles in many places, but formal society is about conformity and changes with new leadership. This means formal society is really about customer service. It is the fashion model's runway of the street. It is your reason for getting up in the morning and facing your day. it is about the slight complex you hold in your mind to get you through the gates. This is why formal society is related to wealth. It is about jobs and uniforms. Unfortunately, reality (as a general concept) is the grasp of continuous clarity, and intelligence sometimes dictates different, and sometimes more extreme, modes of survival more in tune with nature and the universe. In short, formal society is about one's illusions that get them through the day. it is the camera obscura that paints a new generation of misguided thieves. It is the salesman of any devil's engineering. Think as big as you like. Every engineering firm needs a salesman. Think Devil's Henchmen. It is the unseen spirit that gifts the predator. It is pure mathematical ambiguity. -Dravel Bitter For Machiavelli

I don't know if Kim and Frasier would have worked out long term, but my word Jennifer Tilly was hilarious in this episode. JT is gorgeous and a very good poker player. I never really understood Frasier's attraction to Charlotte (notwithstanding that Laura Linney is very attractive) given she defrauded him out of $10K - but maybe Frasier was more sympathetic.

Alistair and Frasier - they were wonderful together except for one thing! Patrick Stewart showing what a supremely good actor he is and what a voice he has. Ann Hodges was never a romantic interest from Frasier's p.o.v. - love Julia Sweeney, hated Ann! Liz/Caroline - either could have been great but both ruined by ravioli Ann.

Susanna was one of those rare dates where it was more her fault than Frasier's. Kris - actress married to Pete Sampras. Bookstore Lisa never got off the ground but really wish it had. Didn't really like Frasier/Roz getting together although these things happen. Julia - didn't think she was a good match for Frasier. Roz's ultimatum was just about the worst writing ever in the show.

Claire was intelligent, funny and attractive but I found her rather dull and I think Frasier would have lost interest in her eventually (even if he'd stayed longer with her than as written in the show). Lana was gorgeous and great fun but her shouting, while occasionally funny, became quite tiring.

Frasier was so cringey with Monica - he messed up there. Episode with Officer Nasty was fun. Out with Dad (with Emily) was hilariously funny - Niles/DHPs facial expressions are wonderful.

Forever fabulous, foxy Faye as in Faye-vourite was the ideal/best woman for Frasier. Intelligent, witty/quick witted/sarcastic and attractive. Frasier really messed up losing her - I blame the writers :)

All brilliant episodes here. Caitlin - Br-errrr-oooooooo. Ski Lodge is one of my favourite episodes - pure farce. Frasier was interested in Annie but Annie (and Guy) had the hots for Niles. Rebecca - Marty on the floor and Frasier switches on the cheesy music - so funny.

Three Dates And A Break Up was hilarious. Typical of "ethical" Frasier to lie to Kimberly about being a vegetarian and a dog lover. Four for the Seesaw was great too. Niles was very annoying constantly phoning Maris and ruining Frasier's chances....although Frasier blew it in the end anyway.

Matchmaker was brilliant - Joe Keenan wrote many of the best episodes. In You Scratch My Book, if only Frasier had loved Dr. Honey's first three books...

S11 turned things around a lot from S8-10. Christopher Lloyd (the TV producter/writer, not the actor) and Joe Keenan returned. Many great episodes (some awful ones such as Freudian Sleep, Coots and Ladders). Out with Dad is hilarious, High Holidays is fun and the final two episodes very moving. I'll miss the coffees...

Similiar to S9, there were great episodes but also poor ones. Enemy at the Gate was dire - except for the ending. Didn't like the Niles surgery stuff. Roe to Perdition, Door Jam and Star Mitzvah were hilarious. Fathers and Sons was really quite moving.
@ukdavepianoman19 күн бұрын
The best of S9 is still very funny but S9 also has several poor episodes - weaker writing and I really didn't like the changes to Daphne. Still, it's great to enjoy the good stuff. I loved Cheers and love the Cheers reunion. Bla-Z-Boy was hilarious. Some great lines too "So, I'm alone because I'm afraid to be alone?"
