Size 26 midge? Are those even prescriptions sunglasses? LOL A couple of weeks ago I was on the Sanjuan river fishing the tailwater in New Mexico with similar size flies and wishing I was in saltwater with heavier tippet . As I write this, I’m in Cuba, fishing saltwater, using nothing smaller than.013.

I'm curious how this fly once it lands on the ground. Does it stand upright? How does it not simply land on one side or the other given the shape pf the weight?

Well I did step into AA 50 years ago in 1974 for the first time. Back at that time there really weren't any commercial indicators so me and my friends bought 5/8ths cork popper bodies intended for bass bugs and made our own by heating our Bodkins up and pushing them through the corks and securing them with a toothpick!! AA is the only store that had the corks. At that time, we were Cheeseman canyon regulars before it was really discovered. Ed Engle was working at the original Anglers Covey in C Springs and teaching John Gierach how to fly fish.LOL great times

What happens with the net on the waist pack when you want to spin it around? Do you have to take the best off every time you want to spin the waist pack to the front? What and the same question but for the sling? Will the net stay in when you spin it around?

Cool. You can list the materials in the order that they're tied in, it's called an Organized Material List. You should write it down.
