First off i must say, yes. I completely agree about the mother key story thing to be about the puppet or at least it might be, pretty sure id's fantasy said the same thing but i can't remember. Although I don’t agree with the Puppet being created due to the bite of 83 (I’m CharlieFirst), I agree with your main statement. The Novel Trilogy itself always wanted to differentiate Charlotte from Charlie, with the former being Henry's late daughter, and the latter being the animatronic he had built to give a new 'life' to his lost daughter (since Henry believed that Charlotte's soul had possessed the rag doll, Ella, which was placed inside each of the Charlie Robots). This was implied since the first book aswell. Charlie didn't like anyone calling her Charlotte, because Henry himself didn't like it. He probably didn't want strangers calling Charlie by her real name because it reminded him of the real daughter he had lost.

Not a bad theory at all! However, there seem to be a few issues that I noticed. Isn't the MCI heavily implied to be on 1985 in the novels, Fazbear Frights, and the upcoming Into The Pit game? Charlie returns to Hurricane ten years after the event in 1995, and she's said to be 17 years old. The first form, Ella, seems to be based on a toddler. In fact, Elizabeth says so herself that that was the intention. More than likely used so that Henry can record fake memories of when the toddler Charlotte was alive, before moving on to the next body and turning Ella into a life-sized doll. However, Charlie must have looked like a more developed child if she's going to school with other 7 year olds in 1985. So I can only imagine that the second body, the child body, was the one being used during 1985. So then the body would be quickly used after the transfer from toddler Ella, from 1983/4 to 1990/1 (around from 5-6 years to 12-13 years). Charlie was probably made older than Charlotte because either Henry was so driven to madness that he forgot his daughter's age, he quickly moved on from Ella to Child Charlie since having a toddler version of his daughter reminded himself too much of what he lost, or Scott is just bad at math and can't keep a narrative consistent to save his life. I believe the third option myself lol. 😂

This goes under the presupposition that all book series _and_ the games take place in the same continuity, hen it's been demonstrated in at least the Silver Eyes trilogy that it and the games are mutually exclusive. But the books and games are separate universes? Like things happened in the books that didn't in the games and vice versa... Specifically referring tp the Charlie trilogy ere, in the games there were three Afton kids while in the books only Elizabeth seems to exist, in the games Charlie (soul) possesses the puppet while the book version isn't really there, and though I loathe to admit this, Sammy probably doesn't exist in game.
