So we are expecting duct tape and 2 sided tape to last through mud and water? Im half way through installing this 500$ worth of foam and rubber, and just not impressed at all. Was expecting better
@Wolfsnoutracing9 ай бұрын
On clean surfaces. Once the two-sided seal tape is covered, it's there for good. If your using duct tape its will not hold up. Gorilla tape was an industrial connector used in many industries including auto and airliners long before it was a consumer product. 4000 + mile on my last pro. Took it apart and still in excellent condition. So yes, it will hold up well. A properly installed kit will make a great difference and will last for years. If you are using duct tape, please start oner and use only gorilla tape. Also be sure to tape the full perimeter of the battery pan and seal all areas as mentioned. On a 4-seat seal battery pans on both sides.

Its really not hard at all. Thursday of last week I did a Pro 4. 1 hour to have the seat-belts, console out and pressure washed for for installation. 4 hours total. Nothing hard about it. About an hour to install the dash and fender seals. Well worth the time, given the results.

I am concerned about us East Coast riders. There is always a little bit of mud that gets flung into the car each trip out. When we wash our cars it’ll go down the drain hole in the cupholders through the shifter gate and anywhere else it can get in. It doesn’t look like there is any way for it to pass through. I am concerned about the buildup of mud inside of the consul. For some reason I was under the impression this kit would be something that just encased the coolant hoses. I may try to do something on my own with plumbing insulation from Lowes. Curious why he didn’t choose to go that path.
@Wolfsnoutracing2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you bought these points up. Thank you. At the beginning of this video, you are looking at one that has been on about 6 rides on the east cost In Tn. Any mud that gets in, when you wash it, the water will weep out the bottom. No mud build up. In fact, it prevents mud from getting on the shifter in the first place. The shifter and the inside of the console stays way more clean than if it is open to the bottom. You can try and insulate the pipes, but when you remove the console, you will find no good way to wrap them. Only a lot of small pieces can be added. Many who have tried this are now our customers. Unless you deflect the hot air from coming in, you are wasting your time. Our kit also prevents steam from boiling in when you hit those mud holes. Thanks again. Please let me know if you have any other questions or comments. I will also be glad to talk to you if you call.

the fact that even 2022 RZR's don't have any heat shielding, or basic floor ventilation is just ridiculous , I get it, bigger shocks are cool, but not melting your legs off is pretty cool too.
@willp99932 жыл бұрын
FACTS, my step brother just paid 50k for a 2022 RZR PRO R 4 seater and after 10 minutes of riding our ankles were being slow roasted from all the heat radiating from the coolant lines that run through the center of the cockpit back to the engine

So if i have a pass side under dash sub i will have to remove it to install this kit?
@Wolfsnoutracing2 жыл бұрын
You can do it without removing it. You have to cut the push pins from the bottom after you take the driver side out. Otherwise you can't get them out. I am referring to the 4 push pins on the top front of the console. You can also remove the sub. It make removing the pins easier.

As a professional tech who installs accessories all day everyday on Polaris and BRP, this is complete trash. Save your money. Duct tape, seriously? If you think this is bad, install one on a pro xp with a heater kit. Dude can't even spell or make a good installation video, much less engineer a kit.
@Wolfsnoutracing2 жыл бұрын
Duct tape, seriously? No its a waterproof industrial adhesive backed tape. Its very effective for permanently joining the seams on our great product for the PRO XP. So you install accessories that other people design on machines that other people design. That's great. Most people install accessories themselves in their garage. I did not design the machine, I simply make them a little more enjoyable. The kits simple to install. The console is the hard part for some. It never was designed to install with a heater in the first place, however I know of many people who installed it "first" in conjunction with a heater. They got it done in their garage at home. You can insult me...its a free country. Haters going to hate. That's fine. The vast majority love our products and use it again when they upgrade to a new machine. Most found it through a happy friend. Did I typo something somewhere and miss it? Quite possible. I leave it up for the grammar police to have something to do. What would we do without them? By the way, the kit in this video has nothing to do with the Pro XP or a heater. Thank You for your comment.

I had the same issues for the rear fuse that sits under my center console directly behind the cupholders there were no slits and the hole wasn’t placed correctly but it was not hard to modify and then tape over the areas exposed. Honestly the kit was well worth the price. And the instructional video took me all the way through till the end. Very pleased with the kit. ONE MORE THING. Do NOT. Rely on the white tape on the sides where the console sits against the floorboard the heat will make it peel back. You’ll need to trim it up so you can apply gorilla tape to the kit and the bottom part where the side connect to the floorboard. Where the 4 10mm bolts are.

Take apart the whole ATV or just move the radiator to the top under the hood and drill a bunch of holes in it or cut out a hole and cover with mesh in 30 min for $10 of extra hose and clamps What a waist of time and money
@timwilcox16113 жыл бұрын
Moving the radiator is a way more complicated job. This kit is very effective if installed correctly. Simple to install for most people. A great value.

I get my new rzr next week , pls tell me it does not get as hot as the commanders. Is it because of the radiator hoses that run through the there? I was thinking because the motor is behind the cab unlike the commander that the rzr wouldn’t be that hot.

We also offer a back of seat heat shield. Its a aluminum foil insulating sound proofing material that we heat laminated to a rubber backing with mylar bubble insulation in between for great insulating ability. It is then die cut, seemed to be a fitted to the full back panel, to not only to insulate but stop the hot air that is pulled in from the back when you are running full wind shields. Not only does it block the back heat out it greatly reduces engine noise in the cab. You can take it out in the winter to get your heater back. If you use harnesses we also offer rubber harness grommets to close off the heater vents were the harnesses attach. They also give a finished look.
