Just purchased the kit. I have a 4seater with full doors and windshields. Riding in lower Alabama heat is almost unbearable with the windshield. Will give a review after I test it out. Thanks for the product!

the fact that even 2022 RZR's don't have any heat shielding, or basic floor ventilation is just ridiculous , I get it, bigger shocks are cool, but not melting your legs off is pretty cool too.

FACTS, my step brother just paid 50k for a 2022 RZR PRO R 4 seater and after 10 minutes of riding our ankles were being slow roasted from all the heat radiating from the coolant lines that run through the center of the cockpit back to the engine

We also offer a back of seat heat shield. Its a aluminum foil insulating sound proofing material that we heat laminated to a rubber backing with mylar bubble insulation in between for great insulating ability. It is then die cut, seemed to be a fitted to the full back panel, to not only to insulate but stop the hot air that is pulled in from the back when you are running full wind shields. Not only does it block the back heat out it greatly reduces engine noise in the cab. You can take it out in the winter to get your heater back. If you use harnesses we also offer rubber harness grommets to close off the heater vents were the harnesses attach. They also give a finished look.

Update on directions REAR DRIVE LINE CAP This replaces the peel and stick type in the video. 1. Bend the metal wire holding the seat belt sensor wire, down about ½ inch. If your seat belt safety wire is still in use, you may need to use a pair of scissors and make a small slice in the bottom of the cap to accommodate the wire, 2. Install from the back side, fit the slotted section over the throttle cable 3. Once the bottom is pushed up against the frame, using two fingers, push the tabs on the ends, to the center and up. Getting them to the top of the frame. 4. Making sure it is seated into the opening evenly, and on top of the throttle cable and the seat belt sensor clip (that was bent downward in step 1.) You will need to use this video to get the rest. There are also two 1 ½” x 1 ½” bell shaped pieces in the kit. They go in the openings just under the square foam pieces seen on the video where the frame meets the roll cage. Tip: after the drive line insulator is installed as in the picture run a bead of silicone down the driver side edge to better seal. This will make a difference and the part will still be easy to remove. Gorilla tape is a great choice to seal the cab seam that runs left to right on the front of the cab.

Will this work for the 2020 rzr s 1000 premium ? I just sold my can am commander because the cab got so hot I couldn’t handle it anymore. I get my new rzr next week , pls tell me it does not get as hot as the commanders. Is it because of the radiator hoses that run through the there? I was thinking because the motor is behind the cab unlike the commander that the rzr wouldn’t be that hot.

If you are referring to a Turbo s or the 1000s yes it will fit. We will have one for the Pro XP soon.

Mike C You are correct, but, the radiator is up front. We also have a behind the seat heat shield, when the two are combined, they can’t be beat in the summer heat .

Does fitting a half or full screen work as well (albeit more expensive)? And would blocking the air off cause any engine overheating?

At the opening in the back off the tunnel,. back draft air is entering from back to front coming in from the fender well void just as it will with a front windshield. The air is deflected as to not bake your drive line cover. When the back draft and hot air from the cooling system collide is were the heat just hangs. If you drive down the road with the front windshield in with an open back you will feel the air blowing in from the back. The same thing is happening from behind your seat only with engine heat, through the access cover and all of the other seams on the back fire wall. We also make a back fire wall heat seal to block out the back draft that when combined with this kit is by far best solution. wolfsnout.com Tim

I don't think this is patent applicable. Unless you invented that material all you did was cut it into a shape.

In fact, no specific materials are even mentioned. That covers any material that will meet the characteristics of the apparatus claims. For instance, our dust mask was granted a US utility patent. It is made from filter foam. I did not invent the filter foam, yet I still has valid claims. The US patent examiner determines if claims are valid.

@@FakeFido95 Actually 3500 smart people bought this kit last year and saved time and money with a far better result than a diy. There are more parts other than in this old video. Don't knock it until you try it. Well worth what it costs to have all die cut parts cut from quality materials that only come in sheets. Hell the box it comes in cost 3 bucks.
