After 183 cruises Don, what cruise line is your favorite?

Carnival I stand beside them. I would be appalled if I see them selling on carnival. They annoy me. Makes total since to me.

Some people just shouldn’t leave the county they live in, let alone the state or the country 😮

As a mom of a daughter who was in girl guides for more than 13 years and she has sold many, many boxes of cookies over the years. We also went on a few cruises and fully support Carnival. That is a very entitled family and simply can't allow that to happen.

Nothing better for a bad mood than a cruise on Princess. Like you said. It is home. My favorite part of Princess.

I agree with Carnival! The last thing I would want is folks coming around selling stuff. First Girl Scout cookies, then Boy Scout popcorn, school band candy bars, etc. it would never stop. There was also no mention of how this would play out in foreign ports when the shops and casino must be closed.

I’ve done ~10 and I’m pretty bored. Same caribbean destinations. Same onship entertainment. I think I prefer flying. Faster, cheaper, more flexible (I decide my itinerary) .

Yea and cruises are cashless systems anyway so most people don't have cash with them anyway

If they said yes to the Girl Guides they would be inundated with lots of charities wanting to sell on cruises. No is the only answer

Cruise policy is correct on this one. We don’t need sales groups of any kind on a cruise ship.

Girl Scouts are British. Girl SCOUTS are American. No selling on ships please. Cookies aren’t good anymore anyway.

Nobody uses money on a cruise ship. Even if someone wanted to buy it, they would have to go back to their cabin and then go back to the selling area. No thanks.

OMGosh!! Carnival did the right thing. I love Girl Guide cookies, but if you do it for the guides, where does it stop?

This was brought up last year too! As a mother of a guide, NO! No you cannot sell your cookies on a cruise ship!!! People have spent enough already. Nobody wants to buy cookies or be solicited while on vacation

This is yet another example of self-involved, entitled people who just don't get it because they think everything's all about them. 🙄 Not to mention, what are they teaching and modelling to their girl guide daughters? 😒

Girl Scout cookies have gotten too expensive for the terrible quality they have now. I can buy two boxes of good cookies at the grocery store. Their mint cookies used to have a mint filling, not anymore. They have cheaped out so much I never buy them anymore.

It’s bad enough that they have big displays with purses, watches, perfumes, and t shirts on the ship. Elbowing my way past Girl Scouts, Jerry’s Kids, Jews for Jesus, Hari Krishnas, Susan Kormon, and Redneck Jim’s homemade beef jerky and hot sauce stands when crossing the pool deck is not something I want to do.

No. Just no. No selling Girl Scout cookies or anything else. It’s bad enough being nickel & dimed by the cruise lines. Where would this stop?

I agree that it would be opening a can of worms but I did notice that Carnival was selling t-shirts and building stuffed bears for their charity ( St Jude ). Hmmmm.

If you let Girl Scout troop 175 sell cookies then troop 2431 gets to sell cookies on that same sailing, but we must be fair, since this sailing also has members from troops 456, 3420, 998, 210, 546, 15741…and on and on and on…THAT would cause the death of cruising.

I agree this is not a market. They could set up a booth and sell to people getting on the ship or into the cruise port

In today’s world it’s all about entitlement. How about…. The parents seek out if it’s ok to do, first!! Don’t just do it! It’s an all about “me” world. 🌍 Disrespectful really. And, what is that teaching your child to do! Nah, don’t ask, just do what you want. Who cares. 🙄

Good job carnival! There is no reason to have fundraising drives for special interest groups to be on board!

They should totally set up outside the port. They would sell a ton to people on their way onto the ship. You are allowed to take sealed food onto the ship.

They do not belong at the terminals or on cruise ships. Plain and simple.

It's bad enough that people come knocking at your door and outside various venues you visit trying to sell you something. And definitely when on vacation I don't want to be asked to buy something.

Imagine being a kid going on vacation and your parents want to make you do your yearly sales pitch from the lido deck?

The cruise would also lose revenue as people would be eating the Girl Scout cookies and not buying the desserts and treats that they sell on board…

No way, we have enough people approaching us from ships crew and in ports. I don't like being bothered with this stuff. They'll be knocking on your stateroom door, in the casino, at the pool etc.

If they allow one, they have to do it for everyone!

It is the right thing to do and has nothing to do with treating little girls mean.
