all cruise lines need more security in public all spaces and venues period!!! especially carnival.

The Cruiselines make you have to carry your phone. If it was like it used to be , they could ban phones in these venues

I'm a theater usher. I would have asked her to step out to the lobby for her conversation.

Enough is enough, its time to start calling these people out. I have no problem saying something when I see something like this. If no one says anything, this type of behavior goes unchecked and these Karen's think their $hit doesn't stink. The cruise lines really need to start enforcing some rules, they too are too touchy feely about saying something.

Why is there not somebody a crewmember in the theater that takes care of things like this? Why aren’t the doors locked when the show starts?
@TheDastardlyDick4 сағат бұрын
General Question:- Why do people still go Cruising? I have yet to see a positive aspect but lots of negatives like you might not go where you want to go, you have a good chance of getting some horrible illness, and then you can't even enjoy the facilities you've paid for. Sorry, I just don't get it.

Very very dumb woman. Why would you want to be on the phone while in a loud performance? She was rude and someone should have kicked her out and banned her.
@classyfiftynine82085 сағат бұрын
I wish there would be staff "monitors", positioned in different parts of the theater to address these i-d-i-o-t-s !!! If no one spoke to them... there is no reason for them to stop these rude behaviors.

I like the video and then click off. I can’t deal with these people even third hand.

Some people are oblivious to the fact that they are being rude and inconsiderate to those around them. We would have contacted a usher to have her take the call elsewhere.

I don't even understand why you would deliberately go to one of the loudest places on the ship to hold a conversation or dictate something -- clearly this woman has some mental and/or cognitive issues. 🤨

I was in an office recently waiting forever for my turn and only people for first needed step in this process were behind the old now covid glass and had to try and hear through the little glass hole when someone was just loud as heck on his phone next to me in waitng room of people..i had to ask him to quiet down and say I can not hear in front of God and eveyone and the whole thing calls more attention when private issues are going on and trying to make it all quiet as possible...grr. Don, great for awareness even though we never win with these folks who are so used to these darn phones. Where are the ushers!!!
@hollypotter69897 сағат бұрын
Almost being the operative word. Did you say anything? Did you get a crew member? You don't get to complain if you don't act. By not saying anything or getting a crew member you GAVE YOUR PERMISSION for the phone situation. A tap on the shoulder and a polite request for quiet probably would have ended the situation.

Slap that and snatch that phone! I am grateful that I was raised to respect others and adults taught me how to behave in performances and movies. Some folks not so fortunate. But they can still learn. Aren’t there signs on the doors about phones? and staff to keep folks out after performance has begun?

This is on STAFF. They should have escorted her out. Security should be available to do exactly that when someone is disrupting the show. HOWEVER that is done.

I'm constantly baffled that these theatres don't seem to have any ushers whose job would be to seat people in an appropriate place and to tell them to be quiet or leave if they start talking, and if they don't STFU, just escort them out and don't let them back in.

Hey Donny......that woman was a disgrace. Ban her......effective immediately........the cruise line security should have thrown her overboard and she should have been encouraged to swim home! Quite frankly, I'm not going to pay a lot of money to cruise, only to be offended by these jerks that you keep telling us about. If I want to be offended......hell...... I'll just stay home!😀

This is just as bad as people who don’t use AirPods, and listen to their music or videos with the volume all the way up even if you’re just sitting around the pool. It’s like nobody wants to hear whatever you’re watching on your phone put a freaking earbud in.! But yeah, I’m in the grocery store and I hear people on their phones talking. I just don’t understand it. I mean, I understand sometimes people will call and be like what did you need me to get and you can tell you you know that type of conversation, but when they’re just having everyday conversation . I just don’t get it like wait till you get home or you get your car nobody wants to hear about your life.
