You're so welcome - And thank you. I'm always so happy to hear that my words and past experiences have helped someone. I don't claim to have mastered all of my own setbacks, but I'm really happy to share anything I've learned with others who are in a similar place. I'll try to make another chatting video soon, since they seem to be the ones that, maybe don't get as many views, but provide more genuine value to people. I really think in this day in age, we need to find community, understanding, and a sense that someone is rooting for us wherever we can. 🥰

Sooo tiny…I’d be having square eyes lol 😂. Impressive and super cute. Keeping my eyes out for your jewelry making video. Enjoy September ☺️🌻🍃

Haha oh KZbin. If only I could get enough watch hours for that 30 cents of ad revenue to go to meeeee! I'm back now and working on the first jewelry video, making the smaller ones into beaded rings. I'll save the larger ones for a follow-up making bracelets. The real struggle here is getting my camera to *focus* on those tiny things lol it's been a ride.

Thank you! It's really motivational to hear kind words from fellow artists. I've been trying to practice enough to get good enough to sell my stuff, but I don't want to disappoint anyone with the random flaws they may find in my work. At some point soon though, I'm just going to go for it and see what happens. Maybe price things super low and raise when my craftsmanship progresses? The anxiety about how to package and ship things is definitely a hill to get over, though. 😅

I seriously love the clicky click of mechanical keyboards. People who get really into it know all about the different switches, how much pressure they take to push, how far down they need to be pressed to trigger, and how sharp or buttery the sound of the typing will be. It's honestly pretty interesting. To me it just sounds "nice" though haha 😅

omg the little guys are soooooo cute! I do wonder if maybe the clay was too dry from the beginning to crack like that, did it crack any while you were sculpting? You could try some clay softener to see if that helps.
@ItsVesperArt4 ай бұрын
It didn't crack while I was sculpting! I think the problem might be that during my first try with the oven, I didn't have the oven thermometer yet, so the oven was hotter than it said it was? Maybe? Either that, or I let them sit around too long while I was working on stuff, and they started to dry out a bit? I've noticed that if I come back to working on something, it seems less pliable until I heat it up in my hands a little and re-condition it. But if something is already sculpted, I can't really mush it around, so in that case, maybe it stays a little dried out/brittle? I'm not really sure what the answer is! But anyway thank you so much for your comment and tips! :)

Hello, i from Brazil. Mas me falta tempo. Preciso me organizar. 😊 😊😊

Thank you so much for sharing your story. 💝 I hope google translate will translate our replies well enough that we can understand each other! 😅 I feel really happy that I'm reaching other artists like me from across the world. I liked your point about art being an extra chromosome in our DNA, thats really insightful and accurate, hehe. And yes I would love to be able to send "happy mail" to people, it seems so fun. I dont have enough confidence yet to start a Patreon, but maybe in a few months or a year. I would also like to be able to do giveaways for new products. Since I'm so new to making many of these things, I worry that they arent the best quality yet, so if I could give away some things to people who'd enjoy them, they could give me feedback in return to improve. 💖 anyway, thank you so much for following my journey and sharing with me. I appreciate you. 🥰

Yikes, growing pains eh? Good for you for sticking with it, that would have been so frustrating. Loved seeing your face and dang you look good with your hair down and that lipstick was just on point! Then I so related when you said 'back into sweatpants to go back to work', cause I'm all for comfort myself too...heck, I'd drop my kids off in my PJ's if I really felt that was appropriate, lol.

Ahaha yes. I used to be sooo high maintenance in my 20s and then one day I was just like, “what am I doing this for?” Now I live for comfort and the more I just do and wear what I want, the more restricting that old stuff feels - especially after starting working from home a few years ago. The only reason I even put on makeup is because I have resistant adult acne (boooo). I’m actually starting a new treatment for that soon, so if it works, I probably won’t bother with makeup anymore either, except on special occasions.😅
