It could have had potential but since the og Resident Evil games were all the rage back in the 90s it seemed like the only thing to do was make like the company/ies that did them up. Granted this Star Trek version of the classic Resident Evil games tried to do their version of Capcom's game but they just couldn't work it out. Hell, there's even a Resident Evil esque X Files game and they too couldn't get it right

There a book that came out in 2010 called “Night of the Living Trekkies”. The book takes place during a Star Trek convention in Texas at the beginning of a Zombie outbreak. Awesome and hilarious book

Data may not be able to make the shuttle go faster, but he can pull off sick drifts with TAS-like precision, that’s how he saves those 4.8 minutes.

I remember reading a review of this game alongside a review for Gabriel Knight 3 in some gaming magazine way back when. I'd forgotten until now exactly what the game was, aside from it being Star Trek and the gameplay style. The only other specific thing I recall is that it got a poor score.

6:07 okay, so I actually know what dehydrated water is and it's actually a good idea it's a barrel filled with nothing but hydrogen. If you're on a planet with oxygen you just open it and you have instant water. No risk of stagnation, light weight, portable, and if you condense the hydrogen you could probably fill a pool with a barrel

I always had a soft spot for this shit game. Really enjoyed it, actually. Insurrection is my favourite Trek film. Yes really. Really! Never made a Resident Evil / Hidden Evil connection before.

I had this on demo CD. It didn't look this good on a 480i CRT monitor.

I remember this game. Played all the way through it a few times. Very strange story, Romulan wants to become a god or something by reviving and then merging with an alien seed that is also somehow his progenitor who left warnings encoded within the Romulan species DNA. And of course, immediately after killing him and saving the day, everyone just ended up at the poker table like nothing happened. Just another normal day in Starfleet.

Probably the only Trek game I forgot existed until today.

The game is a wee bit short, a bit rough but storywise, does kinda fit into a trek episode. Ensign actually helps out, survives, gets promoted to Lt JG at the end. It's basically TNG's Lower Decks but without 99% of the sadness.

With name like Sovok, I kinda think he was supposed to be a Vulcan, which would better explain the nerve pinch. Hey Ben what does the can of dehydrated water say on the bottom?

i still have a copy of this game i never got to play because the first machine i installed it on died before i tried it, and the code would not allow installation on a different machine. it was literally a one use game. i don't buy ea games.
