You need a mic honey. It’s so difficult to listen to someone projecting their voice. I can explain the metallic sound. Not trying to be critical, just saying it’s painful for me. Excellent information was presented 😊

The barrina use onboard "drivers" they are non isolated and they aren't rated for what they advertise for. the ppfd is terrible but if you have plants that grow in shade then they are ok.

in restaurants, ask for a glass of water, that's free, not just water. never tip with card, restaurant will get that, tip directly in cash, if you want to tip. usually tips are pooled. sea is too rough this time of year, don't go in the water, also there's no watch now. uber is usually much cheaper than a taxi. some places open up really early but you have to know which :) the big tasty is definitely the best mac! some places don't accept credit cards! most places do accept debit, but credit is a separate contract and some smaller local places won't do it. grats :)

Hi, you’ve probably mentioned this before but I don’t remember, please where are you glass vessels from and do you have to flush the substrate after awhile, if yes, how do you flush? Beautiful plants you have there.
@leafletcoАй бұрын
Hi! My vessels are from the Dollar Store although you can thrift them or even buy them from IKEA. As for flushing yes, you do I have a video on how to flush your substrates kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmXOfniIbamHb7c

A lot of Hoyas will lose silver or splash in too little light. I agree, I think that is what it wants.

I would've cut the inflo to not burden the plant, u could always propagate thru corms or cutting.
@leafletcoАй бұрын
Yes this is true. I wasn't aware that you can propagate via cutting. Corms I am familiar with and I don't believe it's ever produced any.
@AhmadAsrafHashimАй бұрын
@@leafletco I would cover the exposed stem with moss or substrate, once they root, u can cut at the inter nodes n plant them separately

1) treat semi hydro as soil: no water reservoir, no water roots. 2) use normal pots with drainage holes, don't use any see-through containers. because most roots are designed to work underground, in darkness. 3) use almost anything else than LECA. these should guarantee worry-free growing experience. zero "transition" issues, zero root rot

it's a caudex and it's a water storage strategy. You can also treat them as bulbs and plant them. Feature, not a bug.

The real secret to getting out of the 1 leaf club is heat. Your nighttime minimum temps affect the plant more than soil and more than any other factor. They will grow well in any boggy, cheap soil at all if you just keep them warmer at night. They do not like to be rootbound, as evidenced by the smaller leaves you will always get in rootbound pots.

Can we remove all of the bulbs at once? Will it damage the plant?
@marryd2nordstrom2 ай бұрын
remove all the plant’s corms at your own risk. the corm is where your plant stores much of its energy to grow and thrive. if the corm is healthy and left alone, it will sprout on its own. i only take what is already loose/unattached from the plant during repots. i try to repot only when the plant is root bound. clear pots will help you monitor all of this 🤗

A tip to easily dump your vessel without clogging your sink lol…. Just put a little square cut piece of mesh over the drain or use a strainer if you can fine one with fine enough drainage to catch the medium.

What do you do when it's growing tall as hell and the nodes are a solid 6" apart. Just giant leaves, and tall, I want a thick boi. Can I do this trick to "old nodes," is that a thing? I don't want to chop it too early and mess it up. I used to kill succulents, now I have 6ft+ plants thriving without the ceiling height, help!
