Hydroguard's active ingredient is CBacillus amyloliquefaciens - A root supporting bacterium that *can* help root rot. It's not patented by hydroguard and can be purchased in a wide variety of different products. It is not the end all be all, though. Root rot absolutely, 100% still occurs while using Bacillus amyloliquefaciens. It does help, though!

😳 I think I need to further extend my research now! Is there perhaps a cheaper version to recommend? Or should I look for the active ingredient in some solutions at the hydroponics store?

I use Hydroguard with my semi-hydro plants. Good find on using it for root rot. I wish I had known (thought) about using it before I lost a couple of high end plants.

Girl i think most the people that got anthurium waroc have the same issues i gave up got like 5 from seedling to juvenile to mature all end up die i guess she dont like my enviroment after doing everything u name it i did it and im just like screw it and give up

Very expensive …. Most pro users use Great White which acts similarly with test proven improvements.
