If you're shooting an eighty pound boat you're only fitting your ego

The problem I run into is most targets are not up for that kind of kenotic energy. I have had to cut my arrows out of bag targets and I blast right through block style targets. Targets that do stop the arrow are such a pain in the ass to pull the arrow out of. I’ve tried several name brand to cheap throwaway targets. 😂 I’ve been shooting compounds for 30 years and never had this issue before.

You know what I want to talk about is how freaking stupid is it that we sent all of our stuff overseas even our anodizing just because the simple fact is we wanted to go green right so now guys have trouble getting stuff done here in the United States so they have to send it across Seas I believe it's so ignorant of us to put a cap on ourselves of what we can do

I think a lot of people that are in the archery Community know this know that nobody makes their own arrows besides Easton

Holy s*** Cody went to Easton that is awesome bro I'm so proud of you man I hope you see this Cody you set me up with my first Target phone man you stayed late kept the shop open for me to come back and find my first Target Bowl because I had drove the 15 hours which actually turned into 22 because we followed that badass snowstorm all the way out there with my kids to come shoot the target bows and I had two days to get out there and back be back for work and I got hit because of the snow storm but man you stayed extra to make sure I can shoot every bow and I finally picked up the BowTech and that's the one I went with and it still hangs on my wall man I appreciate what you've done brother

You know why they want to see a lift you look cool because you're reversing the spin of the arrow and most strings that are spun up to the right with their twist are going to throw a arrow to the left unless you purposely spin up the string itself with the left twist then it will throw it to the right and if you're stopping that arrow in mid-flight and correcting it spin you're taking away from the accuracy 100% it's got to be affecting it
@gibsonlife573Күн бұрын
I agree with the point of the Easton axis Arrow it is very strong it's not no Victory Arrow I've shot Victory straight into steel and they survived you know like I have had passed through on targets with access and they've exploded but I think access or like a hundred and forty dollars a dozen Victory 166 shaft is 180 a dozen and then you got to think about insert wise and several things that come into the play there I was wanting to know are you guys affected by the floods cuz I have been to your shop you guys is where I come to buy my target bow and arrow

What’s the arrow weight on that? Maybe a lil lighter arrow to get him to the 270 or 280 range I mean it is a 335ibo I was jw

Can we stop trying to justify these? Overpriced an unnecessary. Archery equipment is out of control as it is. These companies want you to pay a lot of money to shoot a deer <40 yards

I’m pretty sure the gold tip hunter arrows are the 30-30 of arrows 😂 But the axis arrows are a better shaft.

Core SS shot 6fps slower at 28inch draw. I dont see the point in going to a more aggressive pull for 5-6fps. I drew a core ss and it is on my radar. Currently have a 21 solution 60# and definitely regret not buying 70# bowtech with such a smooth draw

It dont matter if your shooting a 70lb..80lb..90lb .. if your comfortable doing it.. then so be it.. do whats best for you and what your comfortable with.. and im with the guy.. id rather be accurate than fast... my setup right now is a mathews Z7 Extreme.. 27 inch draw.. at 65 lbs ..472 grain arrow... 242 fps.. 🤷♂️... if i could comfortably pull 80lbs.. id do it..

DAMMIT! My PSE omen got stolen at the beginning of the year. Didn't like the draw cycle on the lift. Completely over looked hoyts new bows and went with the PSE unite. Now realizing hoyt finally dropped a short draw cam, I am recognizing my mistake. Strictly based on warranty. I think hoyts are the ugliest thing ever and my PSEs shoot great

I only shoot compounds at 750 pound draw , thats right seven hundred fifty pound draw and i usall use a loaded musket with feathers super glued on the stock for an arrow , i often put it right through the deer then my musket arrow goes off and hits another deer and i get 2 , thes are the days when im not hunting with my 2,700 lb draw crossbow. You scrubs who buy 600 and 700 dollar compounds need to learn that unless you will to dish out about 2800 bucks minimum for a bow youre never gonna kill anything and your not a hunter.

Only problem with a heavy bow that’s even somewhat difficult to pull is if you’re sick or hurt in your upper body even a little sometimes you can’t pull it or pull it in an awkward position while hunting.

I killed a nice one on Lejeune back in 2014. Nothing like home tho. PA doesn’t open until October 5th. Ready to fill the freezer! Got a few nice bucks on my cameras but I mainly focus on Does until mid October. Good luck to all this season.
