I don't hate IDV I just hate it when it gets stale and boring

Take a good break. Mental health is more important than anything. I agree with your points here and last video. The community is simply the worst game community I’ve ever joined or witnessed. People are just so weird and horrible, I sometimes wonder how they can bear to see themselves in a mirror. We should remind ourselves that at its core, it’s just a gacha game.

You don’t really have to explain yourself that much , you have the right to feel how you feel burned out and continue with the game or not , it’s all up to. Plus it’s not your fault that some people ( not all) just like spreading negativity and hate , so please don’t blame yourself

Its crazy that people took the chance to start dogging on other content creators when part of your video was literally about how badly content creators get treated in this community. You definitely did not fail as a content creator and its not your fault that there will always be people who like to spread hate and negativity for no reason. It makes perfect sense why you would feel burned out due to people’s actions within the fandom, knowing that there are “fans” out there placing pressure and expectations onto you and content creators in general, and reacting in a way that doesn’t consider how you feel, I probably wouldn’t have lasted as long as you have if I was in your shoes. That’s why I feel the strong urge to support you, I’ve always seen that you put a lot of thought into your videos and plans, and while focusing on being authentic (as you should!), you’ve considered what the audience might want to see too, which I know can become a dilemma at some point. It seems that what you needed now is to step back from the very source and things associated with it that could affect your mental health, which I fully support, whether indefinitely or not a break is necessary at this point to help clear your head and reassess if IDV is something you wish to come back to. Btw, I get why you’d want to justify the things you say, but believe me when I say I never felt you did anything wrong to begin with. I found your savage jokes funny, and any negativity you’ve shown while playing the game is just too relatable. Nothing wrong with being nonchalant and saying what’s on your mind too, seeing your live reactions are fun because you are REACTING to what you’ve seen and assessed in the moment, which is much more real than giving planned commentaries (not that it’s worse, it’s just a different form of content), and your real fans should know that what you say in that moment doesn’t have to be taken that seriously, it’s all in good entertainment and fun. Some people in the audience unfortunately forget that and start having beef with you for something you do not intend, which sucks. Sometimes this fandom can’t accept different opinions and have nothing to do but spread hate. Like how does that benefit anybody? Anyway I yapped too much, but TL;DR just wanted you to know that I respect whatever decision you make that you know might benefit you. Really hope you will feel less burnt out overtime. Just take a break! I personally can't play the same game form more than 2-3 months so It's really incredible you played idv for this long WHILE making contento on it 😭😭 no wonder you're burned out ✨ just take care of yourself and when or if you're ready to play idv again after a break and start feeling excited about It, then that's great!! 2019 player here, 6000+ hours in game and not gonna lie, I feel like quitting the game every other week. Everything you said in the video is super-relatable imo. The worst part of the game is definitely the fact that many things cost real money, while those are the things that keep people inspired to play the game, but not getting something you desired can make you feel awful, which can lead to even more toxicity. The weirdos of idv became so casual, I had a copycat match where everyone revealed some WAYYYY too personal information on voice chat, I personally don't have a problem with that, but if a child were to get in one of those matches... The toxicity is the same as ever, the only thing that changed is that the community is way too immature, the cancel-culture is stupid, say 1 bad thing or be part of one misunderstanding, and you already get jumped(I had an unpleasant encounter with a bigger youtuber once, who told a fake context to my actions and made an entire youtube video about it. After that, my friend who was also included in this got attacked by many of his viewers, got death treats etc.). Point being, the community is as broken as ever, and your best choice is playing with friends, but those people could get burnt out too, be toxic with you even if not on purpose... It's an endless loop, just like the rest of the game, cipher rush, unbalanced characters, so on, so on..

I hate that I didn't get any A tier for about 3 essences now. I don't spend money on gacha and it really sucks that I play everyday but I don't get any skin just because I don't waste my money on pulling them.

6:06 THIS!! i remember joining the ngp discord server as a new player and randomly got accused of something (and no one sided with me) and also they rarely answer my questions evolving about idv(also i know someone who constantly got ignored on the server) and generally ive seen some discriminating chats that the moderators apparently dont have a problem with??? At the point i feel like its more fun to join smaller servers who actually care

People in this community are genuinely WEIRDD, and not even just on the content side of IDV. Like I have no idea what it is about this game that just attracts those types, but sometimes it feels like such an echo chamber of toxicity. I watched a minor (16+) accuse an 18 y/o of being a groomer just because he played matches with a group of friends mainly between 13-17, and everyone just started beating on him, calling him slurs, etc until he just completely disappeared from the game and our discord server. Haven't heard from him since and honestly I felt so revolted.

I am someone who lost their account, at first I was anxious and sad but then I just realized that it didn’t matter bcs idv is just so toxic and negative. As much as I love it and spent my money on it I just gave up at this point. Identity V made me be more negative with so many people without even I realized myself. As someone who just left identity V, I am telling you it’s much more peaceful without it. (You’re probably not going to read it but heh just saying so)
