Thank you for this video! I had the exact same experience and thought it was just me. Vegamour was all good until after the wash and blow dry. My hair felt heavy and dull by day two, it was getting brassy and I noticed more hair falling out. Of course, I stopped using it and went back to my favorite shampoo and conditioner, Actsyl. I have not tried Evolvh but plan to.

Just watched the founder of Act & Acre on the Beauty within YT channel. She seemed to really know her stuff, even the studies were actual clinical studies, not consumer studies (I forgot on which product). You are right, they are doing a lot that is good, including saying no to silicones! But, I am not surprised it irritated you. Phenoxyethanol can cause allergies or skin reactions, and ethyhexylglycerin may also cause skin irritation. It’s really awesome about the baby hairs though!

I have never tried this but your hair even after a workout should appear shiny not dry especially the scalp. Britt. If your scalp is itchy it's dry. If my scalp is itchy I stop using the product. I dislike that feeling. So, I definitely would pass on this and I am horrible following a "to do" chart everyday......not for me because I don't want to have to think about getting ready.

Avoid this at all costs! They are overpriced, and their hair accessories are private label. I purchased a towel that was advertised as made in the U.S., but it was actually made in China. I wouldn’t have minded if they had been honest about it, but the false advertising was disappointing. The company removed my review, but they later changed the label and removed the "Made in the U.S." logo. The scalp system I bought from them dried out my hair. I purchased it when it first launched (before they added the pump), and while I know things have changed, my initial experience was terrible. The after-sales service was also poor.

Also, the full Scorecard with every detail is back on the site and you'll see some purple lines on before/after imagery due to stolen imagery/my videos that have been used in ads on YT without my permission. Finally someone references the falling on the floor!! By the time I was done moisturizing my whole body, the stone had slipped out of my hands and fallen on the bathroom floor at least 4 times, covered in hair and lint. Not for me!

My mature dry skin would probably like this foundation, a bit pricey though... I've tried a few RMS products and so far my favorites are the Hydra Powder blushes/bronzers and their primer... have you tried their Hydra setting powder? it's kinda new-ish I believe, I'm looking for a setting powder that doesn't look dry and chalky... any recommendations?... thnx!

I had a very similar issues with Viori, I’m glad someone is being honest about it. If I remember correctly, I think my scalp eventually started breaking out in zits and it became really itchy, on top of the film being left on my hair. The conditioner was really hard to apply vs the Kitsch one. So I stopped it after maybe 2 or 3 weeks.

I have dry mature skin and love the Suncoverup. I do not use it as a sunscreen. I always use sunscreen before any makeup product and this one is no different no matter the marketing. It only works if you use it this way, which means using way less than you are. Just use a pump like you would any tinted makeup with sunscreen and it is beautiful. I have had so many people complimenting my skin and it lasts all day. A nice glow but not too much and really just looks like my skin is hydrated and evened out and healthy. Light coverage. I do think it works best on drier skin types and wouldn’t recommend it for oily skin. Always thankful for your reviews, Brit.

I'm exactly the same as you at 60. I wear Colorscience SPF for protection for the PA+++ factor. Less is always more on mature skin, imo. I love RMS products.

Just a tip. Don’t use so much. Use a spf underneath. Don’t use it a a tinted sunscreen. It’s really a tinted moisturizer. Rms marketed this wrong. I have normal skin but I have seen people with oily skin not liking it.

I have the other RMS SPF tinted moisturizer situation, too. I got medium, too. I also wish I got the light. But I do like that one quite a bit, actually. But I don’t think I would pay that price for it again so I’m definitely not going to try the new one!

I decided to try a different product. Have you tried Alastin hydratint pro mineral sunscreen? It's the only tinted sunscreen that doesn't make me break out. I got it on Amazon for $78

I got this in Ivory and have been wearing it every day for nearly a month now. I love it!! Either worn alone on a moisturized face or mixed with a little of the RMS spf 30 super serum (in both light & medium), it looks fantastic and lasts all day. I haven't tried one RMS product that I haven't liked, and at this point, I have almost their entire canon.

I have what I guess would be considered combination skin: an oily T-zone and normal everywhere else. It's really just my nose that's oily anymore. I've been wearing sunblock daily without fail for over 30 years, so I have pretty good skin. What I love about this product is that it's skincare, SPF & foundation all-in-one. I use two to three pumps for each wear - - about the size of a quarter, to cover my face and down onto my neck. I wear Cetaphil SPF 50 Mineral Face Sunblock on the rest of my neck, ears, chest, arms, & hands. I hope this helps!

Thank you for so much detail! It’s easy for a creator to throw this on their skin, and say wow it’s so pretty I recommend this to anyone. But like you, this RMS product gave me breakouts! There are two known pore clogging ingredients: Ethylhexyl Palmitate and Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate. Additionally, potassium sorbate, (can cause skin irritation) sodium benzoate (increases inflammation) and titanium dioxide are all ingredients I typically avoid. Maybe the sodium benzoate gave you redness? I received a sample at the Blue Mercury counter in Macy’s. Thought it looked nice on the skin, did not emphasize my pores like the RMS foundation does, but did see a bit more settling than with the 14e tint. Was hoping this would be a good “weekend skin” makeup, but I’ll stick to the Beauty by Earth tinted SPF for that. Though not spf, the new Ogee serum foundation is blowing my mind!

I thought the release of a spf was kind of strange, I was expecting like a liquid concealer or something because they have foundation and recently a new powder (and just released an spf product). I was gonna purchase this but I have the odacite one so I think I’m gonna pass. Thank you for your review ❤

It isn’t a tinted spf. It’s a tinted moisturizer with added spf. You should never rely on your makeup products for spf.

This is absolutely a product you would use on top of a base layer of SPF not as your SPF. That’s how YTers are recommending using products so that’s what they are formulating for. The volume of product is a clue as to usage. I haven’t picked this one up yet but Odacite is phenomenal.
@BrittWitkin8 күн бұрын
thanks for sharing 💜- for me, that would make the finish look even worse. SPF 50 to wear on top of base sun protection seems unrealistic to me, especially when it's marketed as a sun-protection tint. I love to see other opinions though, thanks again

I would suggest doing the gua sha before and not after the ziip. You are undoing the work of the ziip if you do the gua sha after while you would prepare the skin and muscles to receive the Ziip better if you’d do it before.

I got the Ilia highlighter fluid in the same shade you mention (Astrid). It dried like pink plastic on my skin, even when I used just a little and blended it well. I hated it and ended up giving it away. I have combination skin in pretty much your exact shade. I got this in the shade Rich in Radiance and I've used it so many different ways. As with all products, our mileage varies, based on our different skin shades & types.
