Right now I’m loving the Tower 28 Sunny Days tinted sunscreen, it has nice coverage and my sensitive skin likes it. It’s like an all in one for me, sunscreen and foundation, not too dewy either. 😊

Nice! I have a couple of friends that also adore it 💜 finish wasn’t a win for me, but I do love the brand

Sunscreen battle!! I've been working with the INNBEAUTY spf for awhile now and wanted to give it a moment over here. FYI- the Kinship Scorecard needed some additional editing, it's coming soon. In the meantime, hopefully this video helps! 💜 which is your pick?

I found the perfect sunscreen it’s CLEARSTEM youare sunshine SPF 50. I have a bit of dry skin as I just turned 40. Its not oily or drying and doesn’t clog pores. It’s lightly tinted I have medium golden skin tone and this doesn’t leave a white cast. After 15 years of trying sunscreens this it it for me. I use it as my morning moisturizer primer and SPF.

I want to love the kinship, since like you, my skin hates silicones, but it has Phenoxyethanol , Sodium Benzoate, and Potassium Sorbate….and the last time I sampled a product with at least one of those ingredients, I had a reaction, in addition to not wanting to use those ingredients. Learning recently about butyloctyl salicylate (basically a chemical spf that gets used in mineral formulations frequently) paired with SPF prices and researching pore clogging ingredients, has caused me to go on a SPF journey. My sensitive, combo skin has liked the Solara Suncare Fortune Teller, but I am leaning towards switching over to the Evereden Sheer Botanical facial SPF 30. No pore clogging ingredients!!

It’s a process right?!? Thanks for the ingredient journey info. Also I have my eye still on Solara, haven’t heard of Evereden! 💜

Haru Haru & Dr. Jart are the sunscreens I usually reach for. I do miss the Milk Sunshine Skin Tint but it seems to have been discontinued along with all their other complexion products (except concealer).

I’ve been using MD Solar Science tinted mineral sunscreens for awhile and their formulas are the ones I keep coming back to, but most of them have a siliconey feel and do sit on top the skin

haven't tried MD yet! Thanks for sharing 💜

I want to try the Kinship! I have dry skin with a light-medium complexion, my every day face sunscreen is the Cocokind Daily SPF in the yellow bottle, it uses non-nano zinc oxide. Sometimes it remains a little sticky depending how I use it, and there is a very slight white cast at first but it works for me. I still keep trying other brands to see if anything will compete. Ingredient sensitivities definitely make it more complicated 🙃 Still trying to figure out how to keep my skin happy.

I hear ya on sensitivities. I liked cocokind but it did feel a little heavy for me, didn’t pass the touch test. Thanks for sharing! 💜

Have you tried the RMS or DIME beauty tint spf? I go between those two and love them both
@BrittWitkin2 ай бұрын
Tried RMS- very dewy, definitely should have gotten the lighter shade, a bit of a texture miss for what I like, especially when applying the best amount for sun protection. I've avoided DIME because dimethicone is high on the list and usually my skin isn't a fan, although that's been shifting recently. I may give it a shot!

I like some of the asian sunscreens, in particular Haru Haru...I tried kinship a few years ago and did not like it. I have liked just about everything i have tried from Innbeauty project though, the face glaze primer, and the slush cream.

Kinship is too dewy for me. I really like the Kosas DreamBeam, and I love the MadHippie Daily Protective Serum.

Please design a sunscreen. You would make an amazing one. I have been using the Agent Nateur sunscreen with no tint.

I don’t like dewy sunscreens as I have oily skin so I don’t need more shine. I use the Supergoop matte screen sunscreen which doesn’t have great ingredients but makeup goes well on top. I wish there was a matte mineral sunscreen with niacinamide, ceramides etc.if anyone knows about it please let me know!
@BrittWitkin4 ай бұрын
thanks for sharing! 💜 I can't think of a matte mineral sunscreen with those ingredients right now, but if I see something I'll follow up.

The innbeauty is not 100% mineral. It has Butyloctyl salicylate which is basically a chemical uv filter that does not protect against uv A. There’s a loophole that allows these companies to use it and not have to list it as an active ingredient. It ruins my face. I kept buying these expensive “100% mineral” sunscreens and my skin was inflamed. I finally caught on and switched, my skin is back to normal.

ugh, I need to look into this thanks for mentioning it! wow.
