Huw Davies, were there any twins within this family, that we can document? second question, were any from this family enemies? and did they take a sibling's children hostage?

The royal house of Aberffraw is still alive. The royal lineage did not die out with Llawelyn the last. It still exists to this very day and is still living somewhere in Gwynedd.

Don’t forget the theft of our history too. Arthur was King of Gwent, like his father Meurig and grandfather Tewdrig but has been turned into a myth by later Romance writers in England and France. Visit Mynydd Baedan near Maesteg to see the site of his most famous victory over the Saxons.

The North has an amazing history Huw, and it may be Camlan etc the N was fighting for the old religion .. but Ross discussed this over a series of vids with Lawrence the Druid, if you dont mind me saying. There are also vids about the 'Starmaps' up North too

Let us please stop saying Legend and Tradition. It is our history, and not some mythical Lord of the Rings Tale. It is a trick they use against the Native American also. Apart from that, an excellent film. It should be played in every Welsh School. So Why isn't it?

We should have a genuine WelshPrince of Wales, but sadly these we have royalty, never learnt our Welsh language, just a very tiny tiny sort of speech of sort. By the Prince C. Wonder if the new Prince of Wales will make much more of an effort, more than the previous one???????? Any way we are STILL HERE, like Dafydd Iwan song is saying. It is worth you definitely listening with your SUBTITLES The world loves it . DIOLCH DAFYDD,

You can tell by his accent that this person grew up speaking Welsh his first language. If listen to loads of people on many KZbin channels claiming they understand Welsh and they actually do speak Welsh but their accent is totally off. Most off them grew up speaking English as their first language so their pronouncing is quite off..

The Mandan tribe lived along the upper Missouri river, not Alabama. I find that Irish and Welsh history plays fast and loose with the facts, that some or all or none of Western Europes people over a stretch of a thousand years might have stumbled on the america's at some time isn't beyond the realm of possibility, but there is no physical evidence of it and even less evidence that a Welch prince did so. Although there is a mention of a Prince Madoc from the 7th century but only that, a mention. Pure fantasy. Maybe political fantasy?

My family history reads that one English mounted soldier named Anthony Tipton killed Llywelyn as Llywelyn was trying to escape from a battle at the foot of Snowdown Mountain. Both were in armor and mounted. Tipton killed Llywelyn. Later King Edward was brought to the site, identified Llywelyn and immediately knighted Tipton, giving him the title Sir Anthony de Tipton and awarded a royal crest to him. I will brag and let you know that Sir Anthony de Tipton is a direct ancestor to my family. But, then I have read where different soldiers killed Llywelyn in addition to his death as described in the presentation.

The Madoc story is interesting - What exactly were the earleist written sources on it? I read in WIkipedia about a 15th century poem saying that Madoc preferred the high seas (Atlantic) to living at home, but it didn't explain exactly what he did in America. I also saw 16th or 17th century post-Columbus stories about Madoc visiting America, but who knows whether they were made up based on Columbus' findings or if they actually had special information about Madoc's 12th century journey?

Born in Bangor, near Caernarfon, of Welsh parents, but not allowed to learn my language! That was also down to my mother, as my fathers first language was Cymraeg. People don't know how badly we were treated before they went around the world destroying cultures. The word Welsh actually means foreigner! Love, light, peace and healing to all who need it ✨
