Hoyo is very good at making the starter/free characters good at teaching core mechanics. I wouldnt worry about the game being too difficult either, the curve is always pretty slow in gacha games.

Same dog, 15 years ago i used to look for f2p mmos and even tried incrementing clicking games just for longterm timekillers. Now we have a bunch of decent to high quality f2p games (with more coming like Pmugen and Apromilia) that will last 3y+ minimum with monthly updates but barely time to juggle lmao

I hope no good gacha games will be announced in the upcoming 2 years lmao im not sure how i'd handle that while working full time and being a full time college student...

I'm seeing myself some months ago I will be honest with you I'm enjoying way more playing less, let's you appreciate it more the games in your own pace not rushing because of multiple gachas are having a event you know, at first is hard to choose the ones who will stay by then you will letting go and then you realize the less is better I currently play blue archive (super cozy game), and honkai star rail, I used to play 5 but then I drop one, drop another when I see I end up in 2, WWW I downloaded but to be honest I have no will to play, the game is good but genshin drain me go in the open world gather chest is not for me anymore, but I ended loving the gameplay.

@@poke8391 Ahh yes i see where you're coming from. I currently play genshin, hsr, wuwa, reverse1999 and afk journey. I think what has kept it quite easy to handle atp is that hsr and reverse are turn based, and in afk journey you can legit just afk and only play the story when you're itm. I personally love open world games tho so unlike you it hasn't drained me at all. But hey, as long as you are enjoying yourself that matters most! It's just a hobby anyways, it has to stay fun (: And i've seen blue archive yeah. It looks really cute but it sadly doesn't have a pc client besides emulators. I don't play games on my phone >.<

Okay so when I say competition it’s more so as they are releasing in similar time windows and gacha games tend to see their biggest exposure at this time. While in the open world aspects they are completely different and it’s more similar to Genshin. Things change when it comes to the combat and I would say Wuthering waves is more similar to Zenless zone zero than Genshin impact due to the dodge/parry mechanics and similar combo systems - jumping in Zenless zone zero which does bother me. I plan on going more in-depth about the multiple games feeling in a later video to further explain these topics. Sometime this week.

@CyanTril umm, idk about that. That's like saying fifa25 is competing with the next WRC rally. They both may be categorized in sports, but one is a football (soccer) game, and the other is a dirt road racing game. Motersports and football are both sports, but they don't attract the same players. Just like I don't honki star rail at all. I don't like the TBS gameplay, and I will never enjoy HSR. But I like genshin and WW, ZZZ is a different kind of game entirely. It's like when I'm in the mood to play survival, I'll play Subnautica, but when I'm in the mood for space exploration, I'll play No Man's Sky. It might have visual similarities, but that's it. They are not the same game and not competing.
