59:23 If change of phase is change in direction and it heats the boundary it interacts with. Diffraction happens most pronounced with a coherent source and the diffraction angle is dictated by the boundary. The most efficient geometrical shape for diffractive phase change is circle. Best 3d shape against pressure from outside is a sphere. When certain parameters align, crossing a treshold in relation to the physics involved, the phase change on the boundary layer (Impedance change) of a collapsing bubble is nearly instant chain reaction, that can only change phase from as coherent as possible (diffraction) to as non-coherent as possible (circle/sphere). The spherical shape acts as a 3 dimensional lens, focusing the mixed phase wavefronts symmetrically, diffracting shorter and shorter wavelengths on the surface as it collapses. The instant change of phase on the impedance change layer releases heat. @JHBrandt That's sonoluminescence!

Hibibuddin has not played the whole kaida. He has ommitted the upaj of the kaida. That is where Ahmedjan excelled. He used to say निकाल किधर मालूम हैं।

@@achyutkarve and you won't find me saying otherwise. I wonder if you can find a recording of Thirakwa Khansahab playing this Kayda with better exposition and Upaj than Habibuddin Khansahab. Ahmedjan Thirakwa was definitely the greatest tabla player we have listened to, but I don't see why you need to put calumny on Habibuddin Khan's name to prove that point.

When you consider brands like Audio Note (Peter Qvortrup), Pass Labs (Nelson Pass) and Decware (Steve Deckert), their philosophies are built around presenting a musical experience for the listener and from a design perspective, simplicity.

Thanks for the video. At the moment I see that they are clear that they defend that Sabine's formula is not correct for acoustically small rooms. It has been discussed for years but I hope that in the presentation of the papers of his investigation everything will be clear. I can imagine the criticism they will be having. It strikes me that with a broadband porous absorbent panel of only 4" an absorption coefficient of 0.8 can be achieved up to 80-100 Hz. I have already seen that they say that the panel is made with 2 2" plates and each plate with a different density. Can you explain it in another video? Without further ado, many thanks to Mr. Ron Sauro and John Brandt for these 2 videos and to the team that has made it possible to have these guests. written with translator Greetings...

Juan, the 4" panel shown is made of the same material four inches thick. The absorption response is flat from 80 to 40 kHz. Amazing! A year ago I wouldn't have thought so.

Thanks for the video. Let's hope that in the next video they can fully detail what is related to that 4" porous absorbent panel (made of 2 2" sheets and each one with a different density) with an absorption coefficient of 0.8 at 80 Hz What has been said about Sabine's formula for small rooms is another issue that could be explained more fully. written with translator Greetings

I am also extremely Sorry & taken aback to say that such deserving talented singer left us which is nonfilable by any singer of india. And who was totally neglected by the rest singer of india. I don't know why !!!. But I am sure my respected & beloved sangeet guru was neglected politically by all other classical singer & more. I am alas that what a low mentality they are carrying. I think they should take talim from pandit jagdish prasad. I am telling all these as a student of such talented singer.as I had taken classical talim from him . Sorry......

Some people give the sound reproduction of music more importance over the actual music. They spend enormous sound of money on the audio equipment. Probably vanity and an obsession in seeking status.

Peter is so right! The #1 purpose of recorded music is that we can go back in time and re-live older eras, and experience talent that has long gone from the planet. It should be the industry's top priority to keep compatibility on the long run - if they create the habit to break with the past, then the future will keep on breaking with them and what is recorded today will be just as outdated and thrown to the long forgotten bin 50 years from now.

As a scientist the Peter may be right but as a not rich man i can't sadly afford yet his stuff to verify what he is saying. All i know is my own experience in the low tier of audio equipement and sadly it doesn't always shows the Single ended triode as the winner. But i'm eager to learn, anybody knows where i can go and listen to those amazing stuff ?
