What size JL coil are you running on the major? I have a 392 JL and just added 60 front and I am having clearance issues with frame and drag link. I am running a 4” JL rubicon coil they say gives 2” for 392 over stock. Many thanks!
@adventurefurtheroffroad3 күн бұрын
We are running a 392 4.5” lift kit spring from rock krawler. Also depends on tire sizes plus you need a aftermarket bump stop in your coil bucket.
@TRMFAM3 күн бұрын
@ thanks! A 4.50 392 coil = 6.5” rubicon coil. That is what I guessed you were running but good to validate. I run king air bumps and 40’s but tire size does not affect drag link to frame clearance. Keep the content coming love the channel!

Put a downward facing projector above your large design table. You can have a terrific view of your routes or maps.

That Toyota was cool for sure. But just like you said about Toyotas, I’m not a Bronco fan, but that RTR Bronco was bad_ _ _! And I’ve always wanted to drift. Casey Currie built a 392 drift-only Jeep with different size tires on the back vs. the front that was per cool. That’s all you could do with it because of the different size tires, but still it was pretty cool.

I thought you guys were running Mickey Thompson tires, yet all I see are swamper TLS.
@adventurefurtheroffroadАй бұрын
We were running them and still have them. But wanted to try out some tsl stickies for east coast wheeling. Realized not really needed on west coast just returned from that trip. Favorite tire to date is still the Mickey Thompson pro xs.

No it’s a Maxx D trailer. It’s been great to us. We have probably 20k miles on it in 2 years.

Get a 19.95 laser thermometer at harbor freight. EVERY TIME you stop, check every tire (coach and trailer) , trailer bearings at the hub and outer brake drum. You are not looking for any certain temperature. You are looking for one that is different temp from the rest. Generally you will find problems with bearings with in first 50-100 miles. Generally after rebuilding bearings, too tight bearings is likley. Hotter hub than the others, problem with that bearing. Cooler brake drum, brake not brakeing properly. Hotter tire, that tire is going to fail soon. Remember, no set temp, just significantly different.
