I was diagnosed with a left bundle branch block years ago, doctor never really did anything and was never an issue at all. Now I am feeling tired all the time with little energy. Also diabetic with a small heart. Could a left branch block be causing being tired all the time.

I just got home yesterday from my second angiogram. First one ended up with three stents.IAll the heart tests showed nothing so when I got the same symptoms I practically begged heart doctor to do another as over a years wait for nuclear stress test.It was my heart as I already figured.Have another blocked artery but too risky to put stent in.Should be bypass but they don't do that unless it's more than one.I was so looking forward to 8:09 finding out what was wrong and getting it fixed but instead I am going on nitro patches to feed the pharmaceutical beasts. If you have had this happen or use the patches let me know what to expect. Thanks

Can anyone please advise me how and when I should clean the site of the wound (wrist)? Also, when can I have a shower? Do I need to cover my right hand with a plastic bag?

Hi..i awoke.from my sleep at 4am and watched your video!! I was slightly interested to start(no offence , i am interested but thought i knew enough already) but i was 'glued' to it all the way through and that's mostly thanks to your way you present the material. You held my attention through the parts i already knew and I'm glad because it's very fascinating. I love the whole problem solving side and creating a fix and then improving the medical devices as need calls for it. How lucky future patients and recipients will be when we don't learn how to do life right!!! Haha. When we don't require the services of vascular surgeons or angioplasties but I'm thanfull you are all interested and facinated too.thank you. And thank you for giving my dad extra years 2006-2023 until dimenria took him.

This is extremely helpful. I had 4 stents implanted on 12-23-2024 and knew very little about what all was involved. This video and your video about going through the wrist, as they did for me, was so informative. Thank you!!

Had almost a liter of fluid drained from around my heart. Then got a shock treatment to even out my 'rhythms'. Finally, I got a Boston Scientific pacemaker installed three days ago. Four days in the hospital, three fairly serious 'operations', one day after another. Finally, I'm home and no more running out of breath 'doing nothing'. Interesting video. I'm an amateur radio operator so I have a couple concerns about that, but my doc says not to worry. So, I won't worry . . .

I have been diagnosed with moderately severe OSA and I have been prescribed both a CPAP and BIPAP. Here's the problem. I also have PTSD and high anxiety, and putting something on my face is a non-starter. I've been trying with the VA for years to no avail. I just rip it off my head after an hour or two. I'm going to try the mouthpiece now.

Im so sick of statins. They deplete vit D, 2, co Q10, cause high blood sugar, cognitive dysfunction. Cholesterol does not cause heart disease. Why dont people talk about food? Im done with all this stuff and the conflicting info.

Very informative, albeit in a rather tedious way. So my particular questions revolve around magnetic properties of metals used for manufacture of stents and more specifically contraindications regarding future Magnetic Imaging of parts or sections of the body. I did not have the pleasure of a relaxed, preliminary discussion with a cardiologist, let alone a secondary independent consultation. Understandably, the emergency response left all decisions in the hands of various teams. Hopefully, the heart stent will present no risk going forward with detailing diagnoses and planning treatment of existing spinal issues (cervical and spinal all the way through lumbar). Going forward into the future, 3D printing is opening up many areas of development, so very glad you incorporated this technology into your presentation. ❤

Some people here are commenting on lifestyle changes. I’m 47 years old and have lived my entire life making healthy lifestyle decisions. Daily exercise, healthy eating and I’ve never smoked. Regardless, I had a heart attack at 46 years of age. Three stents were placed into my artery last October and another one two days ago. Every male on my father’s side has had a heart attack around the age of 50. Mine is hereditary, a healthy lifestyle didn’t help prevent my heart problems.

I had that about 2 years past, in fact it was 3 arteries that has a stent in it and so far I was okay. My cholesterol level was okay now, only my blood sugar that sometimes it was normal, following day it spikes again, but never missed to take all this kind of medicines my Doctor had prescribed me. So far, i'm okay everyday, thanks God for all the help with all those genius people that developed anything that helps a lot of people.

I have had 2 angiograms, last 1 was about 8 years ago and they went in through the groin and afterwards I had to lie in bed for 6 hours with "sandbags" on top of the site. Good to see a less invasive method used these days.

Sorry, but 40 years ago, cholesterol in the 300’s was totally fine! The fattiest organ in the body is the brain and it needs cholesterol! Our body makes 80% of the cholesterol naturally. Why then, would it be harmful?! It’s protection. Big pharma doesn’t want you to know that …

Get a cardio risk CIMT. It will actually show you your arterial plaque, both soft and calcified. Why guess with partial indicators!?!?

My bpm has been going either about 10-5 less beats under the average rate for my age. I got an Apple Watch so I can keep an eye on it so I do that. But earlier it was around 130. Now it’s 75. It’s been going up and down so now I’m researching it. Thank you so very much!

I also have SVT, I experienced it since high school. Will I die early because of this? I was once gone to an ER and made some test, but they didn't find out the reason of my SVT , my heartbeat goes 200+ beat per minute I was so weak that time and last for almost a week. That's my longest experienced of SVT so far. When I was in high school it only lasts for 5 hrs maximum but I guess as I get older it also takes longer for my SVT to go away. As I dig into research about my condition, I read about low electrolyte that may also cause of tachycardia, the last time I experienced SVT my stomach do not accept water. I only drink gatorade the only drink that my body accept.

But you have made me feel more relaxed about the situation and understand what might happen next .i think I will go for a walk now. Thank you

Sure i'm driving my cardio doctor mad. No one seems to know what is going on with me. So i'm a 56yr old women smoker (cut down).Been having a sharp pain in my heart for around 2yrs. But getting more regular. I am on Ramipril 2.5 and Lipitor 20mg.Had a heart monitor on for a week (around a year and a half ago). Results came back as sinus rhythm throughout, with occasional tachycardia and a few atrial ectopics. Thing is i get my sharp pain under my left breast for about 2 seconds that makes me feel odd for a while. And it is normally while i am resting or doing anything light. No shortness of breath or elephant crushing feeling.CONFUSED. But worried.

Hello, I was a three-sport High School official as well as a Collegiate official in Wheelchair Basketball. I had began to feel some extra beats sometimes while running the court. I then went in to my primary doctor who said my BP was in the 140's and I needed to get to the Cardiologist for a stress test. I did. I was 60 at that time. I was told by the Dr that I had Afib. This obviously sent me into a long journey of getting a second opinion which I did. The result was I have PVC's and occasional PAC's. I was placed on 120mg of Diltiazem. The ensuing two-three years of dosing that medication carried with it too many side effects to count. In April of this year 2024 I decided after reading a research paper on this medication that I was going to wean off of it, of course at the upturned eyebrow of my doctor. I did. I also began to cut out all complex carbs, and sugars. My BP soon normalized. and lost 20lbs. But, I still have the pvc's and they become a source of anxiety for me when they come on. I am now 67. 7 years I have been to doctor after doctor and no one has ever delved into root causees. If I have pvc's and they only happen on occasion, why, I am wondering? My CAC was first in the 400's and a second was in the 600's. I dont know where to turn, but I have been encouraged by the Doctor here and the writings of all of you here.
