Hey my sister had a normal Pap smear had procedure due to other tests and 20 years later she is all good , don’t panic that why we get Pap smears done so we have time and treatment to stop anything bad and we now have sooo many more tests and treatments than our grandparents and mums had and it’s normal during pregnancy for changes in uk they don’t give us them during pregnancy for that reason big hugs and soo many congratulations to you all on this baby girl xx

I had to have a colposcopy as well, I was very nervous about it. Of course anyone would be because of the scary C word of a possibility. I will say that my doctor did a lot of research and studies about vinegar helping the ph and slow down the cells around that area. Unfortunately he did retire last year and now I am in the looks for a new doctor as I was told by him that I now would need to get a pap twice a year for a few years until I am in the clear of something developing. I too have little ones and know I need to be here for them so I am sending you the best vibes in this. The waiting game is the worst part and I won’t lie I cried at just the thought and rumination that happened after. I will say that I did have a tubal ligation as well (no more babies, I’ve got my 3 and that’s what I can take on God willingly, and to lower the chances of the C word). ❤

I have 3 kids who are 5 and under. This is a small thing, but when I first saw my oldest and then my oldest two after giving birth to their little siblings, I spent time with the older ones first. So instead of walking into my hospital room and seeing me holding a different baby, they walked in with the baby not even in sight. We spent time cuddling and talking and then the baby was brought to us. I heard this advice from a nurse who said it just helps the older kids. It can be starting to see Mom holding a different baby when you used to be the baby. And the feeling of the baby approaching the family together is just a different feeling.

And yeah well you already got one listener for a podcast 🫶🏻

Before my youngest was born I wrapped up a baby doll and pretended it was his baby sister so he would get used to the idea of having a little one around. And taught his how to be gentle and showed him how I would take care of the new baby. And then once my youngest was born the baby was his to play with and he actually acted like he was taking care of a baby too. It was sweet and super helpful for us❤️

Lol it's not doing harm. If anything it'll make him more secure. I feel like love comes naturally and do people forget that little kids often fall in love with their little siblings? And if they don't right away don't worry, be accommodating to feelings and adjustment! But it'll be ok. It's not a big deal. Introducing kids into a new family is amazing if there if enough love to go around!
