more videos on sprouting and micro greens please. Do you soak all your different kinds of seeds for 12 hours? I read somewhere that different seeds require different soaking times. Plus I'm sure you are full of much more information for us to learn from. Thank you for such a great video. I hope there is more to come.

Let them sit in the sun for a little bit before you harvest them, that should help turn them green! Same thing happens to mine!

Thanks for sharing. we went through that mess 10 years back when living in Denver, at a multi level apartment building. You simply could not get rid of them ( a building adjacent to ours got tore down because of an infestation. well the suckers traveled everywhere) 90% alcohol will kill them with direct contact. ( don't use near an open flame!!!!!) starvation will kill them, ( wrap item in plastic wrap for 3 months, or stick it in storage. or put it through a dryer. I didn't know about heat treatment, but the apartment building was a rude mess. we haven't had any trouble since, and you do get somewhat scarred, ptsd of sorts, ridiculous to jusmp when you spill flax seeds or a smaller item of seeds. *L* we had to toss a lot of things, as they will burrow into plywood, and wood in general, mattresses, Living in an apartment complex, you simply had to toss. Then there is the reaction we got from the VA, when we weren't sure what they were... and went for help. Treated like a plague victim. You were very brave to post this, and it's good information everyone needs to know. Thanks and God bless in 2-24! (since I posted this a lot later than 4 years ago )

WOW! Great video! My wife and I have just started researching sprouting and are so glad we came across your content! The sprouting trays she use look great and are so reasonably priced. Could you please ask her where she buys her sprouting seeds? Again, thank you so much for the video and your time and consideration.

I'm so glad you found the video helpful! My mom buys her seeds from sproutpeople.org/. She stores most of them now in her freezer and pulls them straight out of there to use them. Good luck on your sprouting journey!

I'm to lazy and impatient to soak them for 12 hours, so I vacuum them with water inside a glass jar for 15 minutes, much easier... I'm ACTUALLY addicted to mustard and radish sprouts right now.... I struggle to grow enough to the point where I eat them too early because I can't wait... 😀

I watched this video with my 9 year old daughter and it got us both super excited we bought the same sprouting tray your mom uses. Your both so cute. I hope my daughter and I will have as close and loving a relationship when she is older as the both of you do. <3
