Eithad is one of the worst airline. I have flown in Singapore Airlines , Thai Airways, Jet Airways , Kingfisher Airlines , United Airlines , Air India, Vistara including low cost carrier Spice Jet , Indigo and Go Air/ First. All the premium airlines above I have some good experience to speak about and which create memories. With Eithad I have flown in A380 Mumbai - Abu Dhabi - New York / JFK - Abu Dhabi - Mumbai pre Covid. Selected this timing and aircraft as it was my first experience to be in super jumbo jet. As much as it was a thrill to me , I did not have any memories from the crew or story to tell unlike other airlines. Then post Covid Mumbai - Abu Dhabi - New York / JFK - Abu Dhabi - Mumbai was A350. From Mumbai heading to Abu Dhabi after the meal service I requested for drink service as it was not serve during the meal service or pre meal service hence I requested for a can beer. Which the crew felt I have requested for his kidney. Later he said he will get it for me but never hand me a can of beer until we land. 😂 On our way back to Abu Dhabi from New York, in mid air one of the lavatory door can't be locked. Hence they put a black tape. In a dim light you can not see a black tape. I happen to pushed as usual like we push when we are to enter the lavatory in all aircrafts. The crew came to me and said. Can't you see the black tape and I was like. It was quite dim sorry I could not see. He could have use a better and polite language and not blame me. There are so many ways to handle the situation. He spoilt the remaining of the hrs. Then we got down at Abu Dhabi and we are to head to Mumbai. As we board the flight and this has been going on in my mind for the last 10 hrs or so, it so happens that it was the same aircraft . They removed the black tape but did not fixed the lavatory door. A couple of passenger's went and said the washroom can't be locked etc. I informed one of the crew that the lavatory door has not been working since we came from New York and so unfortunate that I'm in the same aircraft again to head home after such a long hrs of flight and lay over. Infact as I was close to the broken lavatory door. Whoever came and passed by to use I pre informed them. Which at the end with couple of crews we end of laughing as they knew I was in the same aircraft from NYC. So today , whenever I fly out of Mumbai , Eithad is the last option for me. So please stop sending me your newsletter and promotion. I ain't gonna sign up to be a passenger anymore. Thank you
