What, are you Slovenian, or something?
@stuartbritton48113 ай бұрын
There are a lot of very talented Russians in the art world today. It seems that they are able to bring out their talents most effectively when the landscape is seemingly dull, as it is in Russia.

You are not going to learn to paint like Wyeth from these videos. You won't learn much about Wyeth's work either. This person has an understanding of Wyeth's work about like that of an average high school art teacher. The episodes on composition and brush techniques are good. The rest are simplistic explanations, like "how to use masking fluid", and "how to use ink" with sparse references to Wyeth's work. It's like explaining 4/4 time using a Beethoven symphony excerpt for an example. She appears to be using Wyeth's name to draw people in.

ok, i'll try this tomorrow. i'll follow along with what you did to practice watercolor painting.

Beautiful artwork. I love hearing the birds sing while you paint. The Catskills..., how I miss them. I currently live in between the Cascades and the Rockies in Yakima, Washington. I was born in Rhinebeck, New York and grew up in Saugerties, New York.

I was fortunate to visit Brandywine in Chad's Ford Pennsylvania. To visit the studio of Wyeth, and many works of NC, Jamie, and Andrew was almost a religious experience. I appreciate your vid and effort to duplicate NC's style and hope that you will have the opportunity to also make that pilgrimage.
@EkaterinaSmirnova9 ай бұрын
Once upon a time I went to the same studio and would you believe it or not that time was the time I 1st learned about the artist. A very fortunate visit :)
@JC-il4or9 ай бұрын
@@EkaterinaSmirnova very lucky!! I just read that Andrew's mostly unseen 7000 works have been turned over to Brandywine-hopefully they will put some on tour... Were you also able to see the Farnsworth museum in Maine? (lots of NC, and Andrew works there) sorry to get so chatty, I just love their works. Jamie-not so much. Anyway, thanks for the reply, you don't have to answer this one- Best, Judy

Exactly, this way you can see if the paint opaque or rather transparent.
