Hi Sarah, I know it's such a busy time, but my husband(James Logan) placed an order for the buttonhole kit on Dec 10 and we have never received it. We have emailed several times with no response. Did you use the products after you exposed fabric to cold? Just wondering if you are going to gift a quilt, do you spray the markings before giving it in case it will be exposed to cold?

Just subscribed thank you very much. I didn't know you could sew the garment up first then do the smocking. I am 69 and starting all over again and my first garment will be for my girlfriends granddaughter who will be having a boy, I will be doing the dots I think because I have no pleater

How did you make the sleeve holes? Did you you just cut the holes and use trim to finish ? I am a beginner and have never made a Bishop dress . I think that making out of a circle is a great idea .

I just love you two! This is what life should be for all children. The things we covet most usually have nothing to do with what we truly need. This dress could have been made from a brown paper bag and been equally beautiful if the process of making it was the same because the connection between a mother and child is the true work of art. I see this every day as a teacher. Children who are given experiences of quality time with a parent are an elevation above those who do not. The ones who do not perform lower because they just do not have the engagement and follow through that becomes lifes drive. Put the tablet, games, and distractions away and take a moment to talk to your child and teach them love through communication. This is flawless! Just absolutly flawless.

This isn't about idolizing Taylor Swift. It's about giving your daughter a birthday dress she likes. Decades ago, my mother replicated Jackie Kennedy's FLOTUS wardrobe for me. I didn't give a rip about Jackie Kennedy. But I loved that sleek and elegant wardrobe!

Sarah, I have done dozens of smocked dresses for my granddaughters & now want to make some for my great granddaughter but I am battling to insert the needles. I have inserted them but the rollers will not turn at all. Have I inserted the needles incorrectly although I have done it many times before , please help.

Just 2 suggestions. #1 To promote, do a youtube short of a minute or two of the sit'n'sew as a tease to get subscriptions. #2 if subscribers cannot show up during the time slot, allow unlimited access to the videos. Good luck Sarah Love, Grandma Sue

This is such a great tutorial! I’m making my daughter a baptism gown with material from my communion gown and I was so hesitant to start cutting. But the trick with the lining is amazing 🥰 Thank you
