I am a recently retired mechanic, so maybe I see things differently than most people. But it is hard for me to imagine anyone buying a GM "Trax". My current transportation car is a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis that I bought 11 years ago with 87,000 miles on it. I'm still driving it, it now had 386,000 miles on it. Original engine and transmission, never been apart. Since I bought it, I have spent right around $1,000 in repair parts. Parts only, I did the work. But none of the repairs required any kind of extensive labor. About 8 months ago, I bought another Mercury Grand Marquis, a 2007 model, one owner, an older couple, in like new condition, with only 36,000 miles on it. I gave it a thorough inspection, the only thing I found was that it needed new windshield wipers. After buying it I gave it a complete service. It now has 52,000 miles on it, almost all highway. I've been out just driving it for pleasure. I'm still using the 2006 with 386,000 miles on it as a commuter car, and will for as long as it lasts. I over maintain my cars, so I expect it to last for quite a while yet. I spent 37 years as a government fleet mechanic, and the Ford Crown Vic was the only vehicle in the fleet that almost never had any problems. And they are very easy to work on, and parts are cheap and plentiful. The Grand Marquis is the same car, just a different name and slightly fancier. I realize not everybody has the experience and knowledge about cars that I do, but people could at least do a little research on a car before buying it. The Trax is garbage, and every single mechanic out there knows it. 10 minutes on line will tell you everything you need to know to NOT buy one.

What's wrong with people. It's scary to think people like this even get married. There's some majorly unhealthy and emotionally unstable people out there. Take care of yourself , physically and emotionally. And if a relationship ends, just let it be. People need to end things not end another or themselves. When it's over, just let it be. Marriages end all the time and sometimes it may be for the best. There's alot of Religious stigma and pressure to stay together when it's not good. Sometimes people we're never good for each other from the get go, but you can't make people understand it's not always love, rather attachment, infatuation, loneliness and codependency at the core of some relationships and its not healthy. Let it be, let it go, say goodbye and close the door. Life goes on, even if the life you knew changes.
