I have a question I have two printer a 2803 for regular and a 2850 for sublimation. My question is the ink that came with the 2850 is 502 ink can I use it on my regular printer 2803 that uses 522 ink ?

is there any technical differences between ADF and sheet feed scanner ? I know both are feed scanners ?? But some scanners specifically are said to be sheet feed scanners and others ADF

Thanks for the video. For the first attempt I strongly recommend you just use the self-cleaning function the printer offers (in the maintenance menu). I did three of these, one after another, and this was more than sufficient to unblock two blocked heads. If this does not work, then it might be worth purchasing the cleaning and flushing the heads as shown in this video.

Don't get the Epson Eco tank I have one and I hate it it dries out the ink all the time and you waste so much ink trying to clean the printheads that there's no way to get the output that they claim! go laser for sure

I have tried all of the hacks to get this printer to print dtf film and it just will not work. The film goes through and it says paper jam but it’s not a paper jam. Help!!!!

Our Yellow stopped working, completely after an ink refill, not even showing up on a nozzel check. I tried this and was able to push through with a little resistance similar to how it seems you did in the video. However afterwards when running a nozzel check there is still absolutly no Yellow showing up again, all other colous are working perfectly. Do you have any advice on what I should check? Also thank you for this video, it's good to see more options than 'just buy a new one' ha.

The ET-4750 was working the way it is supposed to for about 2 years. I thought it was the best printer I ever owned. I have not been able to use my printer reliably for about 30 days. Whenever it would miss lines i would do a Print Head cleaning and it would work for about 2 days and then it began missing lines again. I did another Print Head cleaning and it would work for about 2 days. Then I did a Power Cleaning which got me involved with the Maintenance Box. I never heard of the Maintenance Box nor did I know where it was. When I finally found the Box and opened it, I was surprised to find the bottom of the printer sitting in ink and the desk top also covered with ink. This must have happened because I did a Power Cleaning which caused the Box to over flow. My ink levels dropped about 50% after the Power Cleaning. I purchased two new Maintenance Boxes and replaced the overloaded one. The printer never recognized the new Box and there was no message to reset the ink levels until I replaced the Box again. I did additional head cleaning and everything seemed OK for 3 days. Then then printer stopped printing. Epson gave me the name of a local repair center and the also allowed me to purchase a refurbished ET-4750 with 2 year warranty for $199.00 + $59.00 for 2nd year. I watched you video and would like to try your cleaning solution and advice on replacing the print head. Al Bueller

When doing the nozzle check I only get the black color. No other colors appear! Help!

I am only seeing A# as an option for paper size when trying to print on my 13x19. Any suggestions?

I purchased the cleaning kit and it worked for 3 of my colours but still can't get the magenta to print. I cleaned it twice and there is not a pixel of magenta printing. The other colours are great and I really don't want to replace printer and suggestions?

Help. The black nozzle won't push through any water or even air. I've tried everything. Heating up the solution, pushing hard (too hard) and still nothing. It worked on the other 2 colors that were clogged, but black is not doing anything, and without it, it's a useless printer. HELP!!

Ok but need help. My issue isn't with THAT nozzle. It's the one at the bottom that actually transfers the ink. That is clogged. I can't even push air through it, and any liquid just floods that whole bottom area until it bleeds over, but it's not actually going through the final nozzle that transfers to the paper. HELP!!

I have been having issue with my colors printing dull. I did this, reset settings, and ensured ink was filled. Nothing has worked. Any ideas?

I figured out why my printer quit working after cleaning. I purged the printhead with air after cleaning. You need to leave the cleaning solution in the printhead because air pockets prevent the printhead from refilling with ink.

I cleaned my 4730 exactly as you described, ran it through the maintenance cleaning cycle (to refill the ink in the printhead?), and now it prints nothing but blank pages. What would cause this?

DO NOT BUY the Et 2875 300 dollar repair when the ink pad is full! Head is constantly making Lines on the prints so we did head cleaning a lot. Not supporter by any wic reset softwares. ONLY Get a printer that is supported by the wic reset softwares. These printers are very good on ink price but that is where the fun stops..

Hi thank you so much for providing the solution for a blocked print head. I have gone through all the steps and tried. But my yellow is just not working. I did notice that the ink cartridges is not filling properly, i tried removing the visible line and purged it with the cleaning solution, it does not seemed block as the solution was passing with ease. Could you provide some insight to what the problem could be? Even when it was power cleaning or print head cleaning, the yellow ink reservoir does not go down like other colors.

Do you manually adjust the saturation levels, etc? If so, what levels do you set each one at?

Thanks for the video. I have an HP m283 laser printer. It is a super good quality printer but it will not go to a thrift store now. I tried after market ink cartridges and have had problems with them. Tried two different brands of cartridges, either would work for very long. To buy a 4 pack of new HP cartridges costs about $464. The printer new from Costco was only $500. HP's policy and the chips that they use in their products to prevent you from using third party affordable ink is the reason there are so many negative comments about HP. I hope this helps someone looking for HP, they can be great if you do not mind spending the high cost for their replacment ink. I am now looking at Canon Mega Tank or Epson Eco Tank printers.

I installed the ink and I tried printing a receipt and both times I tried it the paper came out blank

At minute 8:17 in the video, the maintenance box is shown, but when it’s brand new (and empty) it will look like it’s filled up, while it is actually showing the remaining capacity, which will decline as you print. To me that’s counterintuitive, but most Epson printers are set up this way at the factory.

Got my new et-8550 but I read the instructions wrong and did the initial charge for the ink tanks without the inks in them and added the ink after. What do I do, how do I charge the inks now? I did reset the ink tank levels to full afterwards but it did not resolve my issue.

Thanks for the info, just going to try the cleansing now. My Cyan was not printing in the middle of a picture. Also you should mention the maintenance tank on the back right side of the printer. This is an absorbent sponge pack that takes all the residual and waist ink out when you do a head clean or a power clean. It can get clogged. I would suggest replacing these on a regular basis if you do a lot of picture printing.
