sorry to disappoint ya, i get questions all the time, when people ask how i kinda jump right at it, the video wasn't about laminating tbh it was about using it in combination of print/lam/cut which i show. sorry i didn't meet your expectation of having a lesson of laminating. its more of an artform anyways lol. thx for watching

Great video! I run a small sticker business, mainly for hire and equipment companies. I currently outsource printing but do cutting at home. I’m debating between investing £6k in a new BN2-20A or going for a second-hand BN-20A for around £2.5k. Any advice on whether the newer model’s faster speed and features are worth the extra cost, or if the older model is still a solid choice for small-scale production at home? I’d still outsource larger orders How long do stickers need to dry? Thanks mate

Mimaki has had several 24" printers of which i have owned one and was not impressed with them at all... I have now had my bn20 for heck 12 years on the same dampers, same print head, yes changed out the cap top and wipers, but it all boils down too when was the manufacturing switched to the cheap chinese products... Hate to say it, but this is when it all went downhill and it's when i seen all these printers have issues... And it not only pertains to the BN20, but all the roland printers in general.. Quote me if i am wrong, but i don't think so if you follow all this with minute integrity as i do... I have other roland printers since they have switched and let me tell ya the hell i have been through and others that i know have had one issue after another.... It's a shame that is has come to this from a company that a lot have come to rely on....

Not gonna lie here... Last time i replaced that cap top was 3 years ago... Still prints like a charm. Same thing with wipers... However, my machine is back from when they still made these in japan... Now they outsource almost everything to china. Hence why so many problems with the BN20A and others that have come after that.

appreciate that! SO ye i have owned and operated CNC machines at home for over 20 years, and have had several IN MY TIME LOL. my biggest pet peeve is the lack of rigidity and using belts and bearings for slide systems. most my cnc use is for Aluminum RC Car parts. but when i wanted to explorer a bigger decent wood CNC for making signs i also want rigidity, and all those low end x-carve or shapeoko type systems just don't cut it, sure they work, and new comers don't understand the important in rigidity. so i got to see the onfinity cnc machine in person before picking one up, and wow they are built like tanks! im super excited! fiber laser has been in my shopping cart for a couple years, was a matter of time lol goodluck on yur search, the one i have sitting here is a rayco type system nothing special but most of them are built the same. thanks for watching!
