Hiya! My new boss recently bought this exact printer and cutter. And I have a question, hoping you can help me out 😉 It's with regards to using liquid lamination on the HP's vinyl prints: Our current/other printer is a Solvent based one (Roland), and we always laminate the vinyl prints (which will be used outdoors, for vehicle decals or signage) with a Clearshield Liquid lamination. (We mainly use the Poliprint vinyl brand) So now, we've tried applying this liquid lamination to vinyl prints with the HP, and realised, to our horror, that the lamination comes off the printed parts, when we use transfer paper or transfer tape when applying the vinyl. Do you have any expert advice on which type of lamination to use, when printing with the HP? It'll be highly appreciated 👍🏼 Any other tips as well. Thanks in advance 😊

I have a pretty busy sticker shop where I print and cut sticker sheets from removable matte paper. I have 8 cameo 4 machines. I am now looking at one of these. No idea where to start lol. Don't know where to buy rolls of similar paper. Program, etc.

Since I got a Uninet UVDTF 3000 printer I have barely turned on the Best Eco-solvent printer in the industry, my Epson S80600. No need to ever cut again. My life is simple now

i hear ya, i know u have affiliation with uninet, i have my issues with them but rebranding or not cool little machines, obviously if you don't use UV nothing else will compare to eco or latex. i run a HP LATEX r2000 plus and have run the UV hp daily, they are truly my favorite

Thanks for the video. Just bought this. Question, on the perf cut, is there a way to get smooth lines around the cutout? Mine come out like "perferated". Sticker companies I previously ordered from have smooth edges. Not sure it is because I have laminate over the vinyl. Advice appreciated! Dee

did you once mention you have used a continuous cut around individual stickers - so cutting blade does not lift - might of been on a BN-20 vid?

you can do that but after a few cuts and depending the size and spacing it could cause problems with your cutting keeping the media from getting jammed because the pinch wheels need the media to move it

Still doesn’t cut laminate, it just tries to read the first crop marks and then stalls! Even tried with no laminate did same thing

i just use a blade and slice along the metal edge, the new bn20 has a cutoff option

1 time in the past 2 years. if set correctly they will last a long time. try not going to deep into media backing especially plastic backed
