I took my chasis all the way down to metal using a sand blaster then sealed the clean metal with epoxy primer wich has great sealing, adhesive properties to prevent moisture getting to the metal i then used seam sealer on all the seams then hit that with epoxy primer, when went over the entire thing with a "professional" rubberized coating, i noticed it's way more heavier and applies thicker than that aerosol stuff, i think people just expect alot out of those aerosol spray cans, anyways it's been about 8 years of overlanding and trails runs and still no rust in sight, I'm in California so no salt on roads

Torx screws on common household electronics are there so you throw it in the garbage and go buy a new one. It's intentionally malicious business practice. Honeywell is one of these companies that does this.

For removing the eg lower part, do as you did each side loose, then use the tounge to help push the front part. Gets removed easily. Otherwise it hurts like hell trying to pull as they showed,

If you use hardened grade 8 nuts and bolts, there's a much less chance of breaking or stripping the bolt. I used 7/16x20 bolts on 2 bearings and never broke. This is the best method I've found in removing bearings on rust belt NY vehicles. My dust shields were in much worse shape, One was totally gone to rust heaven.

This is one of the ONLY videos that shows how to drain the pumps. And that tool you made is awesome!!! I have a Jacuzzi brand spa. I did manage to drain the one pump -but the other is, like yours, in a very tough location. I actually broke off part of the tab of the drain plug. I did that one time before and tried to drill into it and it pushed it inside the pump. I didn’t have to replace the whole pump just the outer ring (volute). I wish I had thought to make your tool that’s awesome. I might do something like that for the future. Most of the posts I have found are like drain out all the water & you’re done. there is one additional place for water in a Jacuzzi and that’s under the heater. I’m not sure how I’ll get to that but I’ve got help coming tomorrow. I may videotape some of mine thanks again.
