When the 2007 Human Genome Project was completed, it turned out we are 99% microbial (the dominant species on the planet responsible for building and maintaining the body.) We are part of nature, not separate from it. Our gut microbes play a major role in determining the longevity of our species. It is the gut microbes who manufacture brain chemicals and send them to the brain via the Vagus Nerve. It is the gut microbes that extract certain nutrients from our food, who run the immune system and recycle the body. They should never be under-estimated or they will also take out our species if they consider us to no longer be a viable species. Proof = 40% of men. 35% of women and 50% of farm animals are now infertile. What's fertility going to be in the next generation unless we stop killing and demonising microbes with synthetic chemicals and antibiotics? We have approx 20-50 years before our species is gone, like the wooly mammoth and other templates of humans, unless we pull our heads out of the sand and understand we are in a microbial, not human, world?
