my question is: has anyone thought or done any calculus on distances between the gravity waves ? how far are they apart. that would indicate the speed rotation and how far apart the two objects are.

Yes i hear, but why did i not get to see the "merger" of August 17? There was "Visual evidence" they said, and all i got was a false-color dot. And how do you effectively prove the point without the visual before/after shot? What did the echo reveal? What is the SPEED of those gravitational waves? Is it "variable" as well? Because in my mind, that would be the logic conclusion.

The only bigger waste of money I can think of is CERN. What the documentarian should be asking is what was the funding situation at the time or in the past. Simply amazing that after all the years LIGO has existed and all that money wasted, with the end in sight, they just happen to finally get a miracle. And a documentary crew just happens to be there. How do you spell fraud? I used to repair computers there years ago because, apparently, astrophysicists can't add toner to a printer or fix a modem (yeah it was a long long time ago). The level of brilliance required to build LIGO is staggering. It requires so much engineering knowledge in mechanical, electrical, materials, optics, chemistry; even civil engineering.

Slopes are a more constructive analytic model to pursue than mere numbers. Also it would seem that the compression of mass feeding into a black hole raises its temperature to values that would generate relativistic effects, significantly increasing the mass of that which the black hole captures.

C'mon folks we have been able to see gravitational waves as long as we have looked out to sea and seen the tide come in. If Albert was right then these waves are caused by the distortion of space/time. There is still so much to learn. Our earth sun and moon system operates over days and months. Some Binary star systems are rotating around each other at very high rates and may even produce sound when affected solids are stretched and relaxed by the space/time variations. Here are two interesting thoughts. Do the variations in space/time interfear with each other. Are there Doppler effects detectable in one direction compared to the Doppler effects in the opposite direction. Would love to see the papers these guys produced. Will start to search for Ligo results.
