This video might be one of the most relatable I’ve seen on KZbin.. That bad input shaft bearing and the damaged threads are common issues. Despite those problems, the rod bearings looked in decent condition, I doubt that engine was knocking. Solid foundation for a build. Great work on the motor and the video!

Hard to say because each component lasts a different amount of time than others but in general i would say every 50k miles would be good to check and make sure everything is good

Ok i see what you mean, yea the new one has to be pressed in with a tool. You can rent it from the auto parts store and once you return it they give you your money back

Once you have the new ball joint in the knuckle you can just slide it into the lower control arm and tighten with the nut

You should check out the 3m Scotch -Brite coating removal discs. No 80 grit scratches and doesn't get the panel hot. Evercoat Z grip body filler is good, around $50
