Poor rex. Bree really killed the soul of this family. And then, once she was done with rex, she became a pervert lol. Then she had no issues doing weird things. She made rex suffer throuhh hell. He should have left her

On one side, I completely understand why Bree left Andrew off by the side of the road. Andrew was extremely out of control. However, Bree quickly got backlash and fully intended consequences. Andrew nailed her with this truth and seeing her child on TV, advertising his homeless status, and the reporter basically telling all the negative Bree was part of, was a bridge too far. Andrew knew full well that his mother would watch that report and what her reaction would be. Bree placed too much stock in thinking Andrew would be responsible.... little did she know, he wasn't.

I mean did Andrew tell any lies tho? Bree was extremely friendly with the wine bottle, and she did date their pharamacist who killed their dad (not that she knew he did it attt but still). And she did abandon him at the middle of nowhere.

Bree's move from non-acceptance to acceptance of Andrew being gay was slow and gradual...... which in the real world that is how it is. Her having Justin come over should have woke Andrew up to how far she came with her progression.

Ruin her life? She got with the guy that killed her husband to be with her and expected her son to be cool with that. She was also extremely homophobic and refused to accept he was gay. But no let's put all the blame on Andrew 🙄 because bree did nothing wrong

I remember watching the reunion of desperate housewives 15 Years ago and marcia said she begged this marc cherry not to do this scene but when it aired people loved it and they justified bree leaving Andrew and they said they then ended up laughing about it

After this scene I couldn’t respect Bree, she always acted like she was better than everyone else. She should’ve called the cops and sent him to jail. He definitely knew better, but he knew his mom would save him.

I hate the fact that everyone is saying this made him a better person. No, this made him a homeless sex worker who barely found anything to eat, drink and wear. Which is exactly what one would wish for a teenager, isn't it? No normal mother could ever do this to her child, no matter what he had done. If she couldn't stand living with him anymore, she should have just let him move in with his grandparents. But sabotaging his plan so that he had no other option but to deal with her, only to leave him on the side of the road with next to nothing is just beyond me. She could have rented a room for him with that same money that she gave him, then drop him off there, after having talked to him about it first. She should have made sure he would be safe, but she hadn't, and he wasn't.

This is sort of old but I really like your statement. I've been so sick of all the Andrew hate! It wasn't good that he tried framing her earlier in the season, but I felt very understanding of him. I was disappointed in how he went about things, but I realize he did it because he felt **trapped**. She was continuously trapping him in the relentless perfectionism of their day-to-day life. Even REX wanted to leave her! I like Bree as a viewer, but I would hate to be part of her family. I understand why he wanted out. And yes, it pissed me off so bad when she ruined his chance to live with his grandparents and get away from that restricting life she created. CLEARLY he doesn't want to be around her anymore. He has no respect for her, but she kept him around while it was obvious he was trying to get away. Her density (or plain abrasiveness) WOWED me in season two. Bree was very entertaining, and she's certainly my favorite housewife, but I really despised her actions this season.

yea you see this a lot with show now they never want to blame the women for anything. there one were her husband ask to to spend less money as money was tight, and instead of saying i get a JOB to help pay bills, she want to write cook book. not writting a book is a fun hobby BUT if you wife told her stay at home husband they light on money and he wanted to write a book a video games, woudl anyone defend him.

I just realize that from all Danielle scenes, she’s not actively being malicious, she’s being used and steered by others around her because Bree and Rex sheltered her. She does whatever others told her to do, especially if it’s against her mom. She never do something from her own initiative.

Bree wasn't sympathetic towards her children, why she expects them to be like that if they don't know what that is. They have never seen it
