That's why they often clashed. Because they're the same person. Danielle is more like her father, she's always so silent about everything and when she finally get her balls out of her purse, she snapped and would not want anything to do with bree. Early on you can always see that Danielle will often complaon about stuff but when Bree fires back she just went silent, apologizing, etc, trying to mend the situation, just like her father.

With a piece of shit person like Andrew I was practically yelling threw the screen that Bree kick him out sooner. I hated how she kept insisting he stay so she could raise him when he was determined to hurt her and get revenge so damn much. Andrew could have been smart enough to get a job or even live with his boyfriend. I don’t blame her for trying to move on and enjoy her life I was actually happy for her. With two crappy children like Andrew and Danielle I would need a vacation too.

On one side, I completely understand why Bree left Andrew off by the side of the road. Andrew was extremely out of control. However, Bree quickly got backlash and fully intended consequences. Andrew nailed her with this truth and seeing her child on TV, advertising his homeless status, and the reporter basically telling all the negative Bree was part of, was a bridge too far. Andrew knew full well that his mother would watch that report and what her reaction would be. Bree placed too much stock in thinking Andrew would be responsible.... little did she know, he wasn't.

I'm sorry but no. No child deserves to be abandoned by their parent (regardless of what they did). That is what unconditional love means. Also, people keep talking about the terrible shit andrew put his mum through, but no one thinks of the reverse. What his MOM put him through, on top of the fact that he was just a kid (a spoilt kid granted, but still, a kid). He witnessed daily her alcoholism, her psychological abuse, her "fakeness" (the facade she forces her family into), the clusterfuck of his parents relationship and its eventual demise (literally), then her killing a man; all on top of being a gay kid & knowing EXACTLY how his mother feels about it. I'm still surprised they didn't go down a suicide/attempted suicide arc. It wasn't surprising andrew became homeless and turned to tricks. He was, essentially a spoilt rich kid who didn't know anything about the real world.

What are you talking about playing games? I get that she’s a bit of a controlling perfectionist but she wasn’t that bad. Like she was constantly trying to get him to seek therapy to talk about his problems especially when he ran over Carlos’s mom which he felt no guilt for and practically horrified her. He did deserve this as this is the consequences for being such a terrible piece of crap even when his dad was alive and he even witnessed him mistreating his mom at one point. Andrew doesn’t appreciate his mom and neither does his sister.

It wasn't just that, Rex had just been killed, George admitted to killing him and then killed himself, Danielle was completely out of control and 5 seconds away from eloping with Matthew Applewhite while Betty blackmailed her, she was drinking, and her AA sponsor, whom she was dating, fucked her son. And that's not saying what Andrew did; sleeping with that guy wasn't it all, he spent the entirety of the first season antagonizing her to the point of spitting in her face, they had problems when he came out and she had a hard time accepting it and then he made Justin punch him in the face to sue her for it, and when she was trying to understand him and work out a truce he basically weaponized his homosexuality against her.

Alex G nonono. She was going through a lot of things. But when it comes to her kids that’s on her. I’m sorry but Andrew wasn’t just an asshole out of nowhere. Since S1 her relationship with her kids (family in general) was distant and cold. The typical “we look as perfect as robots” and I can imagine Andrew trying to find out who he is. His dad has just died too. It wasn’t just Bree’s husband it was his dad. Do u understand how fucked that is? And he genuinely thought Bree had killed him. I’m not saying he is an angel nor excusing him, but he is just as guilty as she is. And she never went the extra mile for him, I’m sorry but after constantly threatening for being gay, not threatening doesn’t mean she tried to connect with him at all. She never did. All he did was trying to get attention and get an upper hand to feel in control and did it in the wrong way. She gave him the attention in the wrong ways too. She never tried. She was as bad as him if not worse bc she was supposed to be the mom and the adult in the situation and love him through all the shit that happened before it got to this point. And at the end, instead of confronting in a big way and trying to fix it and actually facing the issue and not just scream and try to up do it, she gave up and left him in the streets. Then she just went to pick him up bc of the shame he was on tv.

I will die fucking defending Andrew, as nasty of a person he was, he was who he was because she made him that way. She never made effort to connect with him, just threatened him and tried up one-up him just as much as he did. She never tried to find help for him or at least threw him to a exchange school.
