I agree with on everything you said about Hannah but thought she said she was so good with miney but dpends $300 a week on food and doesn’t mention her student loads untill grilling him over studen loans! Also she dressed like a teenager in Mexico and in the pods. She’s not classy enough for him but he is immature so I can see why he picked her. And she was not impressed at the reveal on how he looked. This season had a lot of “Mean Girls and one really nasty mean Mom! The reunion is going to be great and dishy.

You think Hannah is just a bully and needs to lighten up and just teach Nick D how to boil water, do laundry and financial literacy etc… You can’t see how Nick has weaponized his incompetence? You can’t see that two things can be true at the same time? Hannah is flawed and Nick also needs to grow up. You can’t see the immaturity and how both of them are not ready for a relationship let alone marriage. This man lives in a basement with zero responsibilities and is on a show asking for a wife. Hannah is insecure and looking for validation.

You judge the women (Hannah and ESPECIALLY Monica) too harshly despite being a very perceptive person and aware that the men are bottom of the barrel. Stephen is a whole demon, yet you call Monica annoying, whiny, and more just for wanting some flowers. I like your channel and personality overall and hope this comment doesn't come off accusatory. Have a good one.

The issue of birth control is silly. I never used a condom or asked a woman to be on birth control. I took the responsibility of birth control so I didn't have a surprise. Oh I'm pregnant. I didn't have a vasectomy and I had a great sex life with many woman without ever being a father. You just need to know a woman's cycle and when to pull out so to speak. I did get a girl when I was 19 pregnant and she decided to have an abortion so I know I'm no infertile. Just man up and take control and enjoy your sex life with the woman you care about. Not that difficult really.

Ramses better get married because no one in DC is gonna talk to him after this. He is a walking red flag. His background has not much to do with his views on the military...He's just not very smart and he's trying to have a different view of the military to have something insightful to say when he is not insightful at all. Your family came here to secure freedom and that's what the military does, secure US freedom. Most people from Venezuela see that it's communism that caused the issues and the US was trying to prevent that from happening. He's not smart at all but because he's not manly, he needs to be left so that he has a chance that someone will like him, so he can't blame communism, so he comes up with a justification to blame the US military. Also, what a hypocrite....he is divorced, literally broke a vow that he made because he was young and changed, but Marissa is responsible for decisions that she made when she was even younger (significantly younger)? He knew she was in the military and it wasn't an issue, now its a deal breaker. He is just changing everything on this girl...first he got divorced because he's not Christian, now he wants some Christian things. He seems like a lost soul and he needs to figure out who he is.

somehow I got reeeeaaaalllllly annoyed that Ramses and Marissa were just now talking about contraception, especially since they seemed to be very horny with each other all the time. I appreciated that Marissa, who has been in a 3-year relationship with a republican, has obivously grown (she said an interesting thing at the lunch with her family, that she didn't used to express her political views in relationships and such, and I appreciated that!) next stop, unpacking the harry potter thing? that said, I couldn't believe, in a good way, that the show left all of that stuff about the military in the episodes, even Palestine. I was shocked! And you're right, even if I, like Ramses, wouldn't date someone who was proud to have been in the military, he was a bit rigid about that. but seriously, they raw dogged for weeks? I cannot imagine taking that amount of risk, tbh.

Whilst I think Hannah can at times be a bit over the top and I definitely couldn't be friends with her,, I'm not sure if she would be if she was with a partner that met her on more equal ground. I feel like the reason she's coming across as condescending is because she's slipped into mother role because that's all you can do with someone like Nick, she clocked it straight away that they are just not on the same level and I think she's frustrated because she likes him and she's invested so much into taking this seriously and she's met with someone who is essentially a child who doesn't even understand what's required to be an adult, let alone be in a mature relationship. I also don't think it's acceptable that he doesn't know things. Some things yes fine, but he's completely clueless on even basics, I didn't move out or pay rent/bills/do groceries etc till I was 29 but I knew what to expect and wasn't clueless like he is, it's really no excuse. He's very immature and lazy. I don't love Hannah, she has issues, but honestly I'd have lost my shit with Nick and dipped out IMMEDIATELY as it's beyond frustrating, she's at least trying to make it work. Like I don't like her being critical of his stuffed toys but again I'm not sure if it's just displaced resentment because he's childish in every other way it's like oh great, another baby thing you do. If he was a mature man with his shit together with stuffed animals, I really don't know that it would be a problem. She just needs to leave and not take it out on him though, he's ridiculous, but she should be able to just civilly end it without being mean either. He's not a horrible person, but he is delusional if he thinks he's anything but a project someone has to take up as he is.

I like your opinions but just to point out a pattern I keep seeing on your way of perceiving the contestants, I feel like you are very emotionally intelligent but I think you have a subconscious bias that mostly everyone has that its difficult to notice and change if you are not aware of it. You judge men and women differently. Like you are more understanding and forgiving when they have flaws because the bar of expectations is really low, but when it comes to women I think subconsciously you are judging them with a lot more expectations and less room for flaws, (and as women this includes us) . Like I think society has us subconsciously thinking that women have to be nice and polite and perfect all the time and I think when they are not that, even when you know and think they are justified in not being nice and polite, you still expect them to be. And I don't think you have those same standards and expectations for the men. Like an example is you calling Monica annoying and having bitchy energy when she's just expressing her needs in the relationship when she's feeling unheard over and over again and acting like everyone acts when something is important to them and their SO is not providing that, like do you associate being bitchy with a woman just expressing her needs and priorities? Would a man acting and saying the same things be seen as annoying to you? I feel like it's just internalized misoginy making you feel that way because you see that it's justified but you still feel that is annoying because she's not expressing it in the most nice and empathetic way. I'm not saying this as hate or anything I'm just stating something I noticed that I would like someone to tell me if they noticed it in me. And I could be completely wrong I'm not claiming to know you better than yourself😂 just wanted to point it out in case you didn't know and wanted to know😊

Good observation. And I feel nothing but empathy for monica. Imagine how exhausting it must be having to be around Stephen 24/7. I would be losing my shit on him constantly. It's a miracle she could muster up enough patience to make it as far as she did with him. That man did so much talking and said NOTHING genuine. It's been really annoying seeing people (especially women) being so hard on Monica for being "bitchy" or "materialistic." I would love to see them have to live with Stephen for 1 day.

This is my opinion about Ramses. He is not progressive. He gives the vibe of a yoga instructor in Bali, or Downtown LA, that gives you advice about releasing your inner woman by sleeping with him. All needs to be natural and no condoms and he is a feminist and women needs to 'use him' to find their own sexuality and freedom. He knows very little about the real world. For example, how can he say the things he said about the military when troops are not only attacking. Take Ukraine now as an example. They have been attacked, so many people killed by Russians, so what? They just had to dissolve their military and yolo the invasion? He said he has an experience of it being from Venezuela, so it's weird to me, because I am from a very small country that has been invaded and occupied so many times, so I am very happy that we have a strong military now, because who knows in the past maybe we could have defended ourselves better, and kept our independence as a country.

Ramses upset me during the military conversation because he was arguiung with it as if he was online rather than speaking to someone with a real lived experience. He just really wasnt accepting of any nuance in the conversation. Its also very clear he doesnt actually understand how military brain washing works in the USA from the moment you're born.

I agree with you. Also he sits from a position of an US citizen, who are pretty safe on their soil. He doesn't understand the dangers of having countries around you who attack other countries. He didn't think of example Ukraine, that was invaded and so many people killed, raped, misplaced. Their military isn't as he stated 'predatory', they are defending themselves.

@@HarperArrow The US military doesn’t defend they attack. He was specifically talking about the US military which is in fact the oppressors. The nuance is more on why people join whether it be they grew up in a military family or are poor and made your only choice. There’s nuance there but there isn’t much nuance on what the military does. Cuba, Venezuela, Guatemala, Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, etc etc are countries that the US devastated quite literally or covertly.

@@HarperArrowyou DO realise that the reason these countries hold animosity towards America is because they have systematically destabilised their countries and regions for purely economic gain? I’m sure the American military brainwashes you plenty but it’s off-putting that Marissa and her friends don’t seem to have tried to think critically about their role in military imperialism. Yea they benefitted in many ways from joining the military. At the expensive of many innocent lives. Marissa clearly has her own shame about it that she hasn’t processed and is projecting on Ramses

24:12 I wonder if Hannah just has a victim complex… “they cut me off” could just mean that she had to go to school and get a job like other people, when she retold the story about the ducks she said the women called her “a jealous little bitch” which was not actually true. Like she anticipates that people are going to treat her badly for some reason and is mean proactively. That said, I think it’s great she actually brought up money, but she was condescending.

I don't know if I agree for Hannah. In my opinion, her biggest flaw is to still try with Nick. I totally get that it is exhausting to have to parent your partner. Especially because Nick is talking big game all the time, and the reality is nothing like that. She spotted it very early when she met him and had the list written and ask herself if he was "delulu". I definitely think Nick is delusional about what he can and cannot do. I find it frustrating that we are all cutting him slack because he seems so passive and doesn't bite back on camera. I don't think he has emotional intelligence, he doesn't express his needs, he sells big games and doesn't follow through. I think he is a very passive person, and he has more to gain from Hannah than she has from him. He keeps saying that he is looking for a partner who will tell him what to do and who is very strong. He is just looking for someone to parent him. I also don't agree that he is willing to learn. If he was, he would have earlier. He is 28 for freaking sake. If he wants to learn, he open google and learn. He put the hole mental load on his partner to make him the bare minimum of an adult.

@@caseyw.6550 it’s hard to miss, and many have noted, the contrast between how she acts when she’s with Nick in other scenes (alone, with her family/brother) vs. how she behaved with his parents…It’s great she put her best foot forward (as anyone should), but the personality change was noticeable. Maybe she’s had an epiphany, not wanting to lose Nick, and turned a new leaf. Her parents seem super nice, but she’s said her mom locked away food and kicked her out I think at 18. But their first impression when meeting Nick doesn’t seem to align with that image. Of course, this is edited, we’re hearing things through their eyes & recollections, and it’s hard to really know.

Arlington IS in the DMV tho (the DMV is the DC Maryland, Virginia metro area). Many people work in DC who live in the “extended DMV”). i don’t feel like it’s an arlington thing in particular, but more that people say they’re “from DC” when in reality they’re from like western maryland. it’s similar to people from new jersey saying they’re from NYC. on one hand, people are territorial and don’t want someone to claim unearned culture/“clout”; on the other hand, a lot of people default to the nearest large city as opposed to their literal hometown when getting to know someone because hearing “oh where’s that?” can get old for some people. on the other, other hand… i’m tired of people thinking of washington state when i tell them i’m DC lmao

my theories about why Leo and Brittany didn't continue on the show are that maybe Leo's lawyer got involved (makes sense for someone as rich as he says he is to get advantages on this type of show) or Brittany refused/already knew they wouldn't be chosen. I've never seen people discuss where they're gonna go if they don't get chosen to go to mexico before, and it felt weird that she insisted if they didn't make it they'd go to miami

He mentioned his father being a strict republican who votes only republican so I can see where he got that idea from. I appreciate him saying he doesn't agree with that anymore and he felt more passionate about voting in the next election against Trump. I believe he got more interested in politics after that which is why he changed his view. I also like how openly he talked about it. He got a little weird about him finding out he is like a tiny amout black😭 he said he did some research about black history after that. He seems like a good guy to me for now but we'll see.

45:30 i disagree. They said they "didn't get chosen" to save face for sure. I'm pretty sure they both decided to drop out on their own. Either Brittany got thought she got her happy end with a rich man and they both decided to ditch the show bc what would they get out of it that mans already a millionaire lmao OR she really was too uncomfortable with him and decided to call it of which I don't think so. I think she wanted her rich vacay in miami instead. I believe none of that that the production decided they wouldn't be a part of the show anymore.

I think the choice to not continue with Leo and Brittany makes sense for the kinetic team that produces Love Is Blind. Every year they have several couples who get engaged who don’t continue🤷🏾‍♀️. I think that they just applied whatever formula they use every year to Leo and Brittany. Also they tape every couple in the pod-and they don’t know which storylines are going to hit until they’re done taping the whole show. So there’s a good chance that they thought that if Leo and Brittany story wasn’t gonna go any farther than Mexico then it would be a waste of time to invest in them going to Mexico a rental and a wedding. Also Hannah doesn’t care a fig about Leo so the triangle story is a dud as well. Also LIB is currently being sued for keeping a woman in a relationship she wanted to escape from. So they probably over corrected this season.

45:30 I don't consider this potential explanation for not including this couple as production being a martyr, it's very interesting to me you have that perception of that scenario. To me, it reads more like saving face, not wanting to admit that one of your guaranteed money maker couples decided they didn't want to continue on the show so you take back control and say, "actually we didnt even want them, lol."
