This is true, but before you start typing wild commands into the command line and using any tools, you should know the basics. What is an IP address and a subnet mask. What does DNS do. How does memory management work in an operating system. What is a compiler and a linker. What are CPU registers and memory areas like heap and stack and so on...

THANK GOD YOU EXIST! I have been in this field since a really long time. This is what I have been trying to explain this to people, but they are so damn arrogant it gets on my nerves. I am a patient man, but people are dense. Thank you, I hope this video reaches more people!

0:20 thank you for giving me the best laugh I’ve had since my mom died best memory of her telling the bank at seven in the morning to “fuck off scammer” I’m still laughing about it. It’s hilarious! Unfortunately, it literally it really was the bank calling. And it is the top bank in Canada, which they tell you more way than you count more times than you can remember,“ do not answer any unsolicited calls or we will never call you blah blah blah yada yada yada BSBS it’s the bank what you expect”. Then then her credit card didn’t work so she called the bank and it turned out. She got the same lady! She was so bewildered by this she and embarrassed because she’s very respectful. (I can’t talk about her in the past tense) lady. My grandmother raised us both and she went to a Scottish finishing school with Scott by the way. She was apologetic and the lady on the phone told her. Oh don’t worry about it. I’ve been told that all day long. So you never know, but that is the right approach to take. And if my mother who is born in 1946, knows this, live by this work for the government medium level security clearance code like nobody’s business did Y2K coding for the government of Canada so I’m sorry there’s no excuse for anyone. I’m sick of this. I’m sick of this. I’m too old for that and you in the 60s 70s or even 80s, that’s BS! But what a wonderful memory of my mumsy thank you!

and mention the computer abuse and fraud act and always circle back many laws make even practicing these things illegal hence why school is recommended they can pay for your labs to really understand breaking and fixing a system
@jaygeeantonio3 күн бұрын
absolute bs its essentially communicating with computers look into books not youtube videos most are way to simplified you dont need to understand systems only how to manipulate them many bug bounty hunters find the hardest bugs but dont know anything about actual code and you need to know the exploit before fixing it it is all about exploits exploit is taking advantage of weak points smh im going to school for cyber security its literally a degree and relatively cheap to
@oentrepreneur3 күн бұрын
All you said is absolute bs too. How can you break something if you don't understand it?
