Physical Supply Chain attack.
@iblackfeathers4 ай бұрын
this is not “every” technique. this is encapsulating common techniques but i am not sure of the order or categories here. maybe start off by defining what you mean by technique because some of these are more like categories and not specific techniques or methods. and it appears to be all over the map. for example of the order or categorisations, you mentioned xss but then later mentioned cssrf and ssrf which are generally in the vicinity of of each other in discussions. it’s like throwing the kitchen sink but there are holes. for example, you mentioned firmware hacking but that is a category not a specific technique like fuzzing or glitching. generally speaking, new techniques are always being developed and some based off older ones, i would find it hard to make specific distinctions. physical attacks using various methods of physical security bypass are not mentioned. there is more to it than social engineering. sometimes studying up on building ordinances or using physical recon is a valuable category with various techniques before an actual engagement. also, security is always changing and you cannot expect there to be all there is, clearly defined.

When you're a sysadmin in full control you also get a certain advance "perception" to see threats as they evolve. Majority of attacks are just copycat scriptkiddies but some innovate that's where the state of the art is. It takes decades to reach the rest of the population. By then the threats gain these "labels" naming them. The more they attack the stronger things get.

Yo, i realized something with your content like on this video, do you please mind explaining? So at some parts of the video the voice mispronounces or stalls while trying to narrate something, this gave me suspicion that you are using TTS (Text To Speech) and the speed randomly increases at random timestamps of the video, please dont take this comment as something personal i'm just confused and i'm trying to get as much information as i can regarding cyber security and your channel being my top watched one regarding cyber security. Keep up the epic work btw!

How to learn all of these techniques I wanna job in this field looks like no age bar 😊
@auronit9274 ай бұрын
If you're serious about getting into the field, you should start with the fundamentals. That means learning what networks are and how they work, being able to work on Windows and Linux and interacting comfortably with the command line interface. That is the bare minimum. Afterwards you can start looking at programs like TryHackMe or HackTheBox, those will give you a good starting point. Learn the important well-known ports and services, learn how to enumerate them and how to potentially exploit them. After that it depends on what you want to do specifically. You will most certainly not use all of the techniques above, no matter where you end up. Cyber Security is a big field and you won't be doing everything, instead you'll be specializing. If you're looking to be on the offensive side, you're looking at pentesting or red-teaming. On the other end of the spectrum we have DFIR (Digital Forensics and Incident Response) and blue-teaming. Then there's also Malware Analysts who disassemble and analyze malicious software, there's system engineers etc. Depending on the path you choose you'll have different priorities. You're almost certainly going to need to learn at least some scripting and the ability to interpret code in different languages, even if you can't use them effectively yourself. You're right that there isn't an age bar per se but be prepared to learn a lot. This isn't a field where you can simply dip your toes in a little, it requires a lot of commitment and a drive to constantly learn. The cyber world, it's threats and defenses are constantly evolving and that means you gotta keep up. That being said, it's also an amazing field to work in IF you have that drive exactly because you never stop learning. Also, if you don't have a university degree in a related field, you're going to at least need some certifications to land a job, so be aware of that. Important skills in the field are: - Creative / Outside the box thinking - Persistence - Ability to quickly take in new information and knowing where to find it There's a ton of resources on the internet that can help you on your path, if you are committed to it. I want to equally encourage you to look into it but also need you to be aware of the commitment it takes. It's gonna be a rough start if you've never had a formal education in the field but it is possible. In no field will you find equally as many resources for free, readily available. Also, and I wanna stress this, using any of the techniques in this video on a target that hasn't given explicit, written consent to do so, WILL get you in trouble. Never ever use those techniques outside of a controlled environment with prior discussion etc. Not as a prank on friends, not as an act of revenge on another person or anything like it. Being in this field means that you have a big responsibility. Use it to make the digital world a safer place for those that can't.
