I just ordered Magie noire, I know it is a new formula, the original must have been really noire :-). But it is a nice, alluring, chypre fragrance, quite long lasting and I can still smell a whiffs of it, honeyed and mossy aroma, after long hours. So, it is wattered down but still some magic it's left there ;-).

I have my mom’s copy of Linda Goodman’s Sun Signs. She bought it 1975 and we both loved it so much. I’m 67 now and it’s one of my forever favorites 😛 I had Sybil Leek’s Diary of a Witch that I purchased in a used book store for $1 in 1980. But I lost it somewhere!! It was paperback red cover. I enjoyed this video so Much! Thank you❤I tend to gravitate to the early and mid 70s metaphysical and witchcraft books too since I was a teenager then.

I've found that readings for a whole year tend to get lost. I like the zodiac spread, too, and I'm thinking of trying that quarterly next year. That's something I've never done. The exception is the single card pull I've done on my birthday. I've gotten far more out of that than the larger readings. My birthday was in November and I drew The Devil this go around. It's a good opportunity to really just dissect a single card and see how it shows itself.

I love chpyre perfumes also. I find them to be very sensual. Today's perfume smell like candy and donuts, sweet is just not sensual to me; but woody notes like chypres WOW!! They put you in the mood instantly!!!!

I completely agree with all your points. I really had to dig deep about how much I covet. It is usually generated by not really checking in about “stuff”. I KNOW the decks that work! I recently cleaned and rearranged my decks . I got really introspective about why is this thing in my space. I like to do year ahead readings because it is still new to me. I have done it for two years now and it's really just because I am curious to see how it will match up. I like to use an archetype deck for it though. And I like to do it for a couple of family members. I will look at it month by month though to see. Just a fun way to reflect. Add to one's inner archive of cards.

Hi, I am working on making a "tarot" from playing cards and what each suit and color and repeats of them in readings means. Much I leave up to the individual to ponder, but I would like to give only a direction in which to go. I am one who does not want to show or make a show of who I am as far as powers are unexplained. These are all Catholic Divine intentions and held within the "good" of God the Great I AM. I wear no outlandish clothing. I speak plainly with others. I do not have a show of any magic in my house. Although right under their noses are mighty powers, all from The Great I AM, and all angels and Saints included. Even souls that help us who may have been friends and family - this includes those living and those that have passed. I may look into the tarot cards of angels or other ones that are very much based on Catholic and Christian beliefs. The dark may have those who practice what they do, but they have no idea that if you use powers from The Great I AM, you will win. Your powers are much stronger, and they always win. I may or may not put this all down in a book I have already handmade. I have several. I was able to sell some of my handmade books. They are nothing special. If care is not given to them, they will go the way of all other worldly goods and break down and rot. But they can be held carefully and last and last. I pull from so much that I cannot even try to put a "title" on my powers. All I know is they are GOOD. So, perhaps that is my "title," GOOD from GOD. Evil and darkness are easy. But who wants to go in that direction when there is more power in GOOD, and GOOD overpowers evil always, no matter what, in the end. Even if self-sacrifice and pain and suffering are necessary. When I worship, Jesus is my sacrifice. I am of Slavic people. I am 100% Czech. And I like that. I forgot to tell you I am also working on "tossing bones," but mine will not be all bones. Maybe one bone, I don't know. I will use special small objects and assign them meaning and how they fall within the circle or square divided into four meanings, four seasons, and four elements of magic. Four is relative. I could also use spaces that equal 3 or Holy Trinity. I could have an outer circle or square that means angels and souls and saints, with one for Holy Mary. Perhaps a triangle within the squares. The triangle is the Holy Trinity. Meanings will come from where these carefully chosen small pieces fall and in how they fall. Okay? "Holy Tossing" or "Tossing Sacred." I do not rush my ideas. I let them build as I develop.

It's great to see a new video from you. You always leave me with lots to think about. I rarely do a standard month by month year ahead spread with tarot as the "bad" cards could bring on dread and negativity. The months I spent anticipating my card for July (the 10 of swords) was not my favorite! I would be okay to do one now as I'm able to put any card into perspective, but I still lead with being kind to myself. So, instead I will do other types of spreads with tarot for the year ahead and/or use non-tarot systems like ogham, runes, I ching or oracle decks to do a monthly year ahead spread.

Thanks for this, I always look for the channels that talk about what they do with their decks more than show their new ones. I have many decks now, and it is not a problem for me, I have like 15 pairs of tarot decks that I really like working with, and then some solitaiy ones, and some decks that I love the art in, but do not use. But I also have quite a big box of decks I think I should get rid of some day....not there yet. What time has done is I do understand better what to get, and I slowed the purchasing decks down a lot these last years. I also wanted to comment on the year ahead spread, I have done it for perhaps 8 years in a row now and its been a developing thing. I do tarot as a psychological-spiritual journey, for me the two goes together, psychological healing and transformation is very magical, I think. And tarot is a great tool for that. So I pull cards and journal about the card from the year ahead - monthly card. As time passes themes and messages comes up and shows the path forward. That doesnt stop precognition happen, but that is not my main goal, even if I love when it happens. I do readings for others as well, and I see the cards like invitations for them, but its more playful than when I do it for myself.

I have a ton of tarot and Oracle deck but I really only use a Rider Waite tarot and a crown Oracle. I like to collect decks for the art or novels of the deck. I rarely go home for holidays. I like some of my family but some I really don't like and would prefer to be alone. I don't think I should spend time with people I don't like out of obligation.

the coming year i have also decided to go on this journey, after owning close to 300 decks and wasting money, i really want to do something about the decks I already have, if anyone can please suggest more tarot channels that provide value like this one and not push us in FOMO about decks. As I was watching I caught myself agreeing with most things you said, xax and especially with the deck collection videos. Doing one always gives you a new perspective on your own sh*t. And I am in the same boat when it comes to : I no longer care about the number, I just want my decks to serve a purpose, and to be used, they are tools and if they don't fit my practice, they are gone. It's good to see you pop up, I enjoyed catching up. I took a year off year ahead spreads this year, after two years of trying them. I would do the initial overview, and then work with the monthly cards during the month, but I had a similar experience as you at the end of one and wanted/needed the breather. Although, a lot of my stuff is developmental, I agree that the game of tarot and holding an open curiosity is important. To see, will this action lead to what I've read? Will I even take it? Plus the inherent potential and predictive layering, I always consider the autonomy of not just myself, but anyone I come into contact with, and how things can change in a moment. Sidetracked. Anyways, after something being a little more predictive than I'd imagined, the break was nice. This year, I created one which is seasonal with a bunch of sections within each, and I will do it at the beginning of each season, then working with it as I go. I think that will be my sweet spot, but we'll see. I definitely find collection videos have helped my curation process, so I get it. It usually instigates something, even though I keep a mindful eye on this throughout. Sometimes I now just do the process alone. It's quicker than recording it lol. I hope the end of year transition is a gentle one for you. x

I totally get why you do not want to do a collection video in those circumstances... maybe just "save"such an activity for when you feel that something in your collection isn't right anymore, out of balance or just unsatisfying, and you don't know what it is, or how to fix it, then might be the right time to do such a video. My own practice hasn't changed much this year. I'm still sticking to my year ahead pull (see my other comment), a weekly 3 card reading to support me in every project, "to do list things", plans, challenges, etc. during that week. Additionally, I do deck studies, projects, games, additional readings or spells as I feel like, some weeks more, some weeks less or none. Again,as the 2 years before, this year I mainly used Herbcrafter's, Mini motherpeace, Thoth, TdM (CBD, but my new favourite is the Piatnik), Margarete Petersen, Wildwood, Mythologia Fennica, RWS (AGM and mini Centennial) and unexpectedly: the Pasta Tarot (sounds silly at first, but has proved itself to be a really good deck that I enjoyed using this year.) I had 2 decks coming in this year: the Piatnik Marseille, which became an immediate favourite, and the tantric dakini oracle, which I love so far, but I still need to do a deep dive to know it better, as I've just played around loosely with it, combining it with the Thoth. My idea is to integrate it into my ancestral work. My wishlist has shrinked dramatically this year, without me buying more than those 2. My last "list declutter"was just yesterday. It is down now to 6 decks, 2 of them are not even existing yet: A standard size copy of the Centennial (want), Froud's Fairy oracle, Wild unknown Alchemy (both of which are on "maybe" status), Tabula mundi, (which is too expensive with shipping/ tax, so it is on "unicorn" status) 1 Animal and 1 Tree deck, but I haven't yet found THE ONES (so both are "unknown"). Edit: I don't believe it took me an hour to write this comment .......

I have the same experience with year ahead readings. So nowadays I do pull 12 cards, take a picture, do NOT read them, and then every month during the first week, I check which card I pulled for that month, and use it for inspiration, meditation, giving my practice or creativity a new spin or some "fuel", to work with that energy, or I might even do a reading around it if I feel like, or pull the same card out of other decks too and do a card comparison, ... and sometimes I look at it once and then do nothing with it that month. That's ok. Whatever I do or don't do with it is ok. It is no expectations, nothing obligatory, nothing burdensome, just a "1 card offer" to give me a focus, a starting point or a theme if I want/ need one.

Honey, it is a "glass." No worries. And I know, "don't call me honey." Okay. Well, I have found in a pinch when I do not have the glue that I really need, I can use the glue, usually clear or white that dries clear, and use it very sparingly. Then spread it out with my finger and better yet, wet my finger from my own spit. I know, I know. GROSS! It works. But I have never gotten sick yet. Plus, sometimes after I stick the paper to the place I need it with this glue, I will wet my finger and go over the paper with my spit as well. These things help keep the "bubbling and warping" down and will help in keeping it flat. You can "feel" when you are doing just the right amount for this task to help it. Just saying. It works for me. I do rather have the type of glue I need, but that doesn't always happen. So, do the best with what you got. Believe it or not, I still use my mother's old recipe of water and flower for gluing. It will be very hard when dry, but this old fashioned way can be done and with much success. (The reason I don't use water with a piece of fabric or paper towel over the glue is because I cannot "feel" if I am doing it properly and water makes it too slick and wet. Spit works the best. Just stick your finger in your mouth and apply until you "feel" it is working and then stop. You did it. But I know it all sound "gross.") We do not always have the proper glues, but not everything needs to be archival and remember "the things of this world will rot and be gone" so trying to make something that will last and last and last is not natural. Just do it over again when the first one has "rotted." or whatever. Okay? P.S. I do not even buy drinking glasses anymore. I just wash out the glass jars I get with foods and some are short, some are larger and some are in the middle. And those are my drinking glasses. I love it! It is just perfect. I soak the glue and labels off and there is a perfect clear glass for use right there. Why toss it away? I do still buy proper mugs and cups as those will need hot beverages from time to time and they are meant to not break when using hot liquids. You know all this. Why tell you? You know what I mean. I just hate it when my favorite cups and mugs have finished serving me and break and I have to go hunt down one to replace it at the dollar store. It is like losing an old friend.

Many of the elderly that I have loved and my pets do appear in my dreams and I am overwhelmed with emotions and have found myself with tears both of happiness, love and sadness all at the same time. However, I am grateful they do appear to me. Lately, I have been doing forms of self-magic on my body in the form of drinking flavored waters with those spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables that will help me keep my body healthy while I have type 2 diabetes. If you ever need some list of some things to have, I could give those to you. In any amounts these things will keep you healthy and give good feelings, but mostly they are for those of type 2 diabetes or even those with shots and such for diabetes. Colors. When I am needing a boost of energy, I either think of colors that help or seek them out on the computer or within my house or in magazines. It works. Wearing certain colors will help me as well. Different colors for different needs. I want to tell you that I believe that if I watch the Mass on the computer which usually is live, and if I have a small amount of water and red wine, I can reflect what the Preist does and my water and wine turns to blood and body of Jesus. For the bread or the body, I use a type of cracker and there are many to choose from. Usually I light a candle and burn a bit of intense during my Mass at home. Because of my health, mentally and physically, I cannot go to public places unless I am alone. So I am able to have the "full Mass" at home and I believe Jesus allows this for me. Other times, I just open myself up and receive him. Spiritually, but it is far more than spiritually when I do. Many times when I think of doing something for some purpose, I find I actually do not even have to do it with "worldly" objects or in forms of prayers. And it does just the same good as if I had. Go figure! Thank you for all your information. (I am looking into building my own deck of cards to use like you do. I am also on the look out for a deck I feel will do me good to purchase.) Happy Thanksgiving and remember to have a small glass of red wine at that time. (or a big glass, even better) You will have bread in many forms so the balance is some red wine. One thing, if you happen to wake up and look out the window, your dream will not be remembered, generally. This is what my mother told me and her mother before her and I have found it to be true, generally. Try as I may, if I had looked out the window when waking, I just cannot remember my dream. And that is so.

I want to tell you that in my back yard to the west is a rail road very close. Over the rail road is a piece of short land and a fence line. Within the fence line are lovely plants and bushes and trees. The rail road company comes by every 3 years or so and sprays and then shreds the best they can, but it all comes back and quickly and marvelously. I am happy for that. There in the fence line are my belief of spirits, sprites, brownies, fairies, elves, no darkness to do harm. One time a black cat with her beautiful green eyes, wild, came to back door. She did not know how to meow bu rather hisssed her speaking to me through the screen door. She would stretch her front paws out and up to the screen and look at me. I gave her some water and food in private. Later, she brought her babies to me to look at and give some food and water. Somehow the word got out and soon I had all kinds of cats visiting me at my back door. I did what I could for as long as I could. Then someone turned me in to the manager and I had to stop. She would not allow me to water or feed outside kitties. She does not allow feeding birds or squirrels. SHE is the darkness in this location and I fight her spiritually all the time. She can go only so far and that is all. She has no welcoming into my brains and when she speaks in response to anything I say, she lies so all talk comes out in her favor. So, I have learned to only give kind words and compliments about the place we all live in. She is dumbfounded and cannot speak when I do this. How happy that makes me! There are principalities and spirits all around us and sometimes in the forms of people like this dark manager. Beware. You can protect your living space and limited environment and definitely when dealing with these dark people. You do have the power. Remember that. So I am thankful for all the good that surrounds me and protects me. It is much. And I have found, if I should speak of any kind of topic, that topic comes up and relates to what I have said very soon from others and into others lives. How do I have this ability? It is just there. I do not even try. Halloween for me is all about those that have died and are in the processes of moving on and into the light. I offer much prayer for them to be given purity and wholesomeness to move to the Almighty in joy. (I have also been visited by tiny lights. If you look carefully at them, they are of different colors. I do not know what they are, but I know they are of good. Evil does not have dominion near me or around me at all. Actually, it runs from me in fear and objecting, but that is their own fault.)

I laughed so much when you said the Italian decks trigger you because the people there can look like people you are related too. I'm also Italian American, and you totally look like my grandaunt when she was younger :D

It’s nice to see you back! Around Halloween I do my own little thank you ritual! To say thanks for the harvest, a safe year and all that I have. I collect berries and stones, seeds etc from the area around me and put them in an offering dish, I light a candle and say a little thank you ☺️ it’s a nice way for me to go into the winter season.

I can certainly relate to what you are saying. I have two decks that I have a personal relationship with and I been thinking of parting wit at least 50 or more decks.

Thank you for saying the dead are still with us. Sometimes it hurts because everyone I really loved a long time in this life is dead, and I never dreamed I would be left so completely alone. So it helps to hear they may still be with me in spirit. Once in a while I feel one of them sends a sign, but not as often as I might wish.

And as to what I am doing; I am making folk magic videos and trying to grow my channel. I have started to offer card readings to people. It's been slow. Trying to breech the gap and offer services, and knowledge, to Christians interested in such things has its challenges.
