interesting ... I JUST purchased this for a gift and then started to see alot more negative reviews for the use-case i meant it for. This is an elder person who DOES have a full sized blender and usually it'd be used for say frozen fruits (like berries or whatnot in similar bags to what are in this video) ... maybe (and they may have to break things down more before hand if there is an issue) say frozen bananas in containers broken down into chunks from fresh bananas and stored for later.... Usually the liquid is something just like cold apple or orange juice (aka no ice involved) having enough power to chop the frozen fruit is sort of the key point. The user (my idea for the gift) sometimes wants a smoothie but "eh ... i am not in the mood to mess with the big blender for a single serving) ... that is why when i saw the good price on this one, i bought it
