i questioned how much you knew when you opened with needing a mallet, only to be reassured you had no idea what you were doing when you opened a snow crab leg by just ripping it in half. two light breaks on either side of the leg and slowly pull apart will leave the whole leg meat in tact. and no one uses a mallet or "crab fork"... all you need is a regular dinner fork and maybe a cracker if your eating claws. and of course a littler muscle.

Eating Crabs are actually... QUITE BENEFICIAL. As a pescatarian I can confirm that I actually wouldn't need the tools to extract the protein. Just pure natural muscle force is all it takes. Not just Crabs are beneficial, lobsters, crawfish, octopus, and even oysters. Gotta love the diet!
