I have been making bourbon or brandy milk punch for over65 years. I invented it because my husband had a stomach problem. I use milk and half and half as base then crème de cacao ( a liquor) and the best is Makers Mark or Jack Daniels the best is make a large quantity. Christian Brothers Brandy is my favorite. and put in freezer for few days. Twice daily stir well and use a stick blender to whip well. Serve is small cups as it will be like soft ice cream . Ratio of bourbon, crème De cacao and milk 1 cup milk 1/2 cup Half and half to 3 oz bour. or brandy and1 oz crème de cacao. You can vary this recipe to your liking strength. top each glass wit fresh shaved nutmeg enjoy. My grandson in-law asked for some the other day as I had made 5 gallons for his wedding for the older guest, guess who had the most. the younger guest tried it and made a run on it
