Greetings... This battery doesn't have a way to connect to the plugs in a normal state? You have to activate the "X Boost", right? I don't like it because that makes the stored load run out faster.

Great review Ryan you home yet? The Mrs from Wellington just picked up the 81cm, I on the other hand, prefer the 'Essens' hard shell. Great review mate 👍 That sux about the Air Tag, I'll be straight onto Emirates about that for our EU trip come October from Brisbane across the ditch (bought an iphone to use Air Tags just for the trip / I am a Samsung man & their Smart Tag is inferior ti Apple's technology)

Just FYI when u use the cigarette light plug it gets kinda HOT in twenty minutes so dont leave it plugged in UN ATTENDED for saftey reasons

It goes well, good quality and holds up nicely, it uses more battery in the winter as the grass never quite gets dry and wet grass uses more power. We have a large front and back lawn and do require a charge to mow it all and will be getting a second battery. It is light, no fuel and does a good job

Still highly recommend, we have a 900m2 section with house, garage and built up gardens, in summer you can almost do all grass in one charge, in winter when the grass is always wet with soft ground you can do 2 thirds. So we got a second battery, worth it, as it uses no fuel, light weight and good build quality. No issues

It exceeds 158cm linear checked baggage limit. Did you face any problem in checking in these with airlines?

I have not, so far have flown with Qantas, Emirates, Easy Jet, Vueling, Norse and Air New Zealand, no problems

Dimensions for baggage are calculated by adding together the width, height and depth of the piece of baggage that makes this suitcase 170cm for the airline purposes i donet know about other airlines but quantas has a maximum of 140cm for domestic and 158cm for internatio al so if the check you would get oversize baggage fee or they could refuse to take it @@ornn6177

UPDATE: Hi everyone, a bit of an update. One of our awesome viewers has brought to my attention that this bag is only extendable in size in specific countries or regions. So if this is an important feature to you, please check on the website you are buying it from in the description to see if it has this feature. I purchased mine with extendable zip from strand bags in New Zealand. MY BAG UPDATE: 7 months in Europe, it is holding up strong, it did suffer a slight tear to the protective plastic covering the zip trail on one of the corners, this was i checked the bag in. Apart from that, it works as new, love the smooth wheels. Cheers, Ryan

I watched this video before I bought this AT Linex online because I thought it was EXPANDABLE. How is my AT linex different from yours? I am very upset, I felt that you put the wrong name and this video deceived me.

Hi there, I appreciate your feedback, at the time of recording this video, this is how the Linex was produced. However as you will see in other viewer’s comments on this video, we discovered that the Linex available in New Zealand from strand bags, is a variant of the same bag from other regions that do not possess the expansion function. This detail was unknown to me as American Tourister sell the bag variant under the same name world wide.

So i mowed my lawn on the lowest setting to see how it handled. I collected 6 catches of grass. Mower ran out of charge at 25 mins with around 90 seconds worth of mowing to go. I definitely cut the grass too low on this test mow, it's like a carpet out there. I am confident in the future it will mow the whole section in one charge at my regular cut height. I will keep you updated if it doesn't. If you just give your grass a light trim it won't use much charge at all. If you have a decent section and cut short, look into a 5Ah battery. Cheers Ryan.

Had a question if I already have the MAX pro can u connect a smaller (300 watts ) unit to ad more wattage or do u have to just buy the auxiliary battery they sell for more wattage

hypothetically yes, you would need to plug the Max's charging cable into your smaller unit. The auxiliary provides a tidier probably more streamlined experience

Hey there, thanks for your comment. I am running a GH5 with a 12-35 lens. lighting is a Nanlite Halo 18, mic is just a rode mic wireless go attached to an inexpensive boys lapel mic. Tripod is also an inexpensive Velbon XE630. Cheers

EDIT: After some research, I have found that this model is exclusive to Strandbags; the regular Linex 55cm IS NOT EXPANDABLE. Hey Ryan! Thank you for the video. Is this the Linex 55 cm model? In the official American Tourister website, there is no mention of it being expandable, and I am afraid to buy it just to find that it is not. Thank you!

Hey there, good research, very weird that this design of the Linex is exclusive to Strandbags. I noticed the inside pocket design is also different in the regular Linex. You would think the expandable feature is worthwhile having on every bag... Thanks for the info.

Anyway, thank you for the video and for your insights in the other one (the one with the comparison with the Samsonite); I almost bought the Linex model because of your video, but when I found that it was not expandable, I decided to go for another one. I found a huge deal in a Roncato, and I went for it. I feel like I would have liked a bit more the American Tourister, but I don't travel that often (maybe a short flight every 4 years or so), and most of my trips are by car, so I don't really need to spend a lot of money on a fancy bag. Anyway, thanks again!

I do agree that the connection into the gun/trigger is very difficult. I note there is a square aspect to the part where it plugs in on the cable/hose itself. I made sure it signed up and had to put a significant amount of force into it when pushing it on. Much more than you did but the machine is not new tho. If not for your attention to this part I may not have found the issue so easy to fix. Thanks
