Hello miss Rose, I would like to try product or food photography but I don't know how: 1st, price/rate of the service in food and product photography 2nd, who needs this kind of service or where can I offer this kind of service.
@roselleneneАй бұрын
Hi there, we started offering our food and product photography services to friends. At first we did not charge because we were still building our portfolio. When we felt more confident we started charging a little lower compared to our competitors since we were new but eventually raised our prices as we offered more value like themes, onsite photoshoots, more props etc. A lot of small business owners needs our help so we can photograph their food/product in the best possible light. :)

Some excellent advice here. I am a semi pro freelance photographer from the UK. To be honest find stock photography pays buttons and print sales have fallen through the floor lately. The money appears to be in teaching here but these days everyone is at it.
@roselleneneАй бұрын
I totally agree, we even stopped freelance photography and focused on teaching it creating online courses. I had the same thought before, what more can I offer if everyone is doing it but still did it. I am happy to share that it actually worked out and exceeded my expectations in terms of income and fulfillment ☺

Does gear matter to you ma’am Rose?
@rosellenene6 ай бұрын
Hi there! :) That's a great question! Personally, I believe that while gear can certainly enhance the quality of your work, it's not the only factor that matters. What's more important is your creativity, passion, and understanding of the fundamentals of photography. Sure, having fancy equipment can be fun and helpful, but it's how you use it that truly makes a difference. I've seen incredible photos taken with just a smartphone, while others with top-of-the-line cameras may struggle to capture the essence of a moment. So, while I do appreciate good gear, I don't let it define my work or creativity. It's just one tool in the toolbox, but what really matters is the vision and passion behind the lens. :) Hope that helps! Best, Rose

Hello Rose, how are you? I guess you use Photoshop and Lightroom, you know that there are so many videos about Ps and Lr but they are not very clear, they start teaching and moving the mouse but viewers can’t really see what they are doing, there is one guy (phlearn) that explains better and expands the image when he moves the mouse, I was wondering if you could make a video, your English is very clear to me and you talk more calm and that makes understanding better, thanks Rose and have a great day.
