Hi there :) It's been a while since I published a video because I have been busy producing a new skillshare class, so I'm super excited to announce that my new class, "iPhone Photography: Capture Delicious Food Photos with Natural Lighting," is now live on Skillshare!
Class Link: skl.sh/3V3NeC8
As you may know, I've spent years honing my skills with my mirrorless camera and favorite artificial lighting setup, helping small businesses showcase their food products in the best possible light and sharing my expertise through classes and courses on Skillshare and Udemy. But after seeing students' feedback and class projects, I knew it was time for something different. Inspired by another class about peculiar prompts to find your creative flow (highly recommended, by the way), I decided to simplify my tools for the sake of art. And let me tell you, it's been eye-opening. For the past few months, I've been photographing food and other subjects for personal projects using just my iPhone and natural light.
Now, I want to share this life-changing experience with you. My goal in this class is to equip you with the skills to capture beautiful, mouth watering food photos using only your phone and natural light. The key is grasping the basics of food photography and harnessing the beauty of natural light. It's all about embracing simplicity and letting your creativity shine
What's in store for you?
How to photograph food as a subject.
My top three food photography tips and tricks.
iPhone camera settings checklist for professional looking food photos.
How to make the most of the iPhone built in camera app and features.
How to cultivate an eye for natural light.
Essential properties of natural light.
Step-by-step demonstration of capturing mouth-watering food photos using an iPhone and natural light, both indoors and outdoors.
AAAnd.. to celebrate the class launch, I’m giving away a year of Skillshare Premium to one lucky winner!
Rules:
1. Watch this brand new class. (Don't worry if you are not yet a member, I got you!)
2. Leave a review (one entry).
3. Post a project (three entries).
Bonus: Share your project on social media, tag me @rosellenene, and Skillshare @skillshare for extra entry points (each IG post = 1 point).
For the class project, We'll be photographing our favorite dishes using our iPhones and natural light. It may sound simple, but the real magic happens when you harness the power of your tiny yet mighty camera and the natural light around you. And don't worry-I'll be there every step of the way to share my tips, tricks, and insights into my own creative process. You can also download my class project guide to help get your creative juice flowing. :)
The winner will be notified on Skillshare via a comment on the project around June 24, 2024, so ensure your email notifications are enabled!
The giveaway is open to both new and current Skillshare Premium members.
