Touhou worlds and cosmology are inspired by Buddhism, the series is mostly based on Buddhism, shintoism, taoism and asian mythic. So Shinki is not satan, she is more like inspired by Demon Lord Mara Few similarities: 1) World: makai is not hell (they do not suffer like in hell), it is more like the place where demon live peacefully. Same to Mara, his realm he resides in is the highest of desire heaven “Paranimmitavasavatti” (devas who delight in others creation) are for celestial demon (powerful demon with powerful magic, not demons who burn in hell) 2) Title: Shinki is the god of demon world, the creator. Celestial demons in Paranimmitavasavatti can enjoy thier own and others creation, they are too powerful compare to celestials and gods from lower realm. Shinki theme being “legendary illusion”. One of Mara titles is also Mara the illusionist, or Lord of illusion 3) Power: Shinki is so powerful, she destroyed her own dimensional realm which is infinite sized, probably most powerful demon in the series. While satan is lame, in bible he easily lose to the weakest angel, he has no powerful aura like Shinki at all. Then we see Mara, the one who dared to challenge even the Buddha, Buddha gained enlightenment after winning against Mara. 4) Story: in touhou 12, Byakuren the one who got sealed away in Makai, people call her jesus because they think it’s resurrection, but i say she has become the awakened one (her theme is “cosmic mind”), she become free and came out from the world of illusion after that (it is similar to that, Buddha became free from greed, anger, illusion after he gained enlightenment) so Byakuren is inspired from Buddha and Shinki is inspired from Mara. Also Byakuren has spellcard looking like Shinki spell so they must have interacted, PC 98 cast still exist in modern version, it’s just that the story from pc 98 is not canon.

Yumemi is one of the strongest companions you can have, and arguably the most devastating single-target ranged attacker in the game. Her ranged attack stats are the highest I've ever seen in the game, and her equipment is better than anything p-points can buy. When she says she's technically a scientist not a soldier, don't let that stop you. When she says she needs 10k p-points to join, pay if you can afford it. She's worth it, especially in sieges!

One of the most OP heroes you can have in your party. Hits like a truck in melee range, strong at ranged, has GREAT strategic stats, and is an absolute tank. I saw her carry a 1v12 fight against Taoist soldiers while I was too far away to help. The only opponents I've seen take her down are faction leaders like Remilia Scarlet. But Remilia Scarlet is hands down one of the strongest opponents in the mod.
