The first scene was outstanding. It's lovely when the snow biasses the camera's auto-exposure down so that you don't get the exhaust saturating out.

Real bit of nostalgia there, Im fortunate to have seen Green Arrow run on the ELR as 60800 and again on the SVR as 4771. In your video 4771 sounded superb and you could in fact just have the sound playing. Regards James

I read that these locos pulled up to 26 carriages of servicemen up and down the main lines in WWII with relative ease. Semaphore signals and a parcels bay just the icing on this cake😁

How do you get to the first and second shot of the 9f

First one is easy, it's Burrs Country Park just outside Bury, take the lower footpath by the Brown Cow pub, go under the railway then footpath on the left. Second one, follow the footpath from Burrs around the river until you get to the spot. It's at Springside Farm. Lineside vegetation spoils the shot a bit unfortunately
