Thanks Dave, it was a clip that I thought had been lost

Great footage from the archives Austin, an eventful tour if ever there was from what I've read about it. Interesting to see the 37 and matching rake too.

Thanks David, yes, very eventful but there seemed to be a good deal of cooperation to ensure it kept running

Thanks David, hopefully you will get the chance to see her one day. A famous loco that I went out to see pulling the last steam train in 1968

Spot on Austin, vaguely remember that one while waiting at Scout Green when the grapevine eventually got word of why it was running so late, unfortunately was in between camcorders as mine had recently got broke so no footage, the 37420 with the regional railways stock looked great as well, cheers 👍

Thanks Nige, it was certainly an eventful tour. No RTT back then either so you just had to wait and hope to hear something on the grapevine as you say

Excellent footage there Austin, of the 2 Fives. It will be nice to see 45110 return to the mainline, eventually?
@acw7100011 ай бұрын
Thanks, yes there was some talk that 45110 has been bought by West Coast so we should see her in action again

@@acw71000 I agree with you there Austin, what I have heard that West Coast has bought 5593 Kolhapur?
@acw7100011 ай бұрын
Yes I'd heard that one too, we'll just have to wait and see
