In the Christian Tradition, yes we do live in a simulation. This is a simulation of Heaven (the proverbial instruction booklet in this case being The Bible). Think about this: if you have the resources necessary to create this level of simulation that we're in, how would you allocate those resources amongst the general population? Why not have them all participate in the simulation, and then we can find out how people would act based on the amount of resources and circumstances they start with. If you end your run of the simulation having acquired a lot of wealth/power but haven't helped anyone else, then maybe we should instead give more of Heaven to the person who started the simulation with little, suffered a lot, but was still able to care for others.

They killed Magic: The Gathering, the game I fell madly in love with at 10 back in 2000. I'm absolutely disgusted. The whole flavour, feel and world building are gone forever. The fantasy worlds in your mind are effectively reduced to property-and therefore, capital. Your body is capital. Your ideas are capital. You're not making art for self-expression (and banking on the side, nothing wrong about that). It's all about the bottom line. It's all soulless, corporate slop appealing to the lowest common denominator. The public is as much to blame as the corporations themselves. They will be excited once Pikachu fights King Kong in the finale of the 8th Batman trilogy. I despise how impressionable they are. Spider-Man on your iPhone cover, on your toothpaste packaging, even on your goddamn toilet paper. Lizard brain sees something it knows and loves, it lights up like a Vegas slot machine. No room for novelty, no surprises, no adventures. Clinging onto childhood fantasia like Linus onto his blanket-except you're in your 30s, desperately throwing disposable income at the only thing you think you know which soothes the unbearable pain of being so lonely and dejected. A rhesus macaque pushing the cocaine button makes more sense than these overgrown sad children and at least doesn't look pathetic while doing it.

If you were smart you would use well written stories and let the heroes or villains die at the end I mean the Marvel Universe has about 1500 heroes and twice as many villains it feels like every single superhero has so many personal arch villains that the superhero could massacre a bunch of super villains and their people in every film and still the series would only end after eight films and imagine that for 150 different characters
